  • 178 people could not do first trick

  • Dynamo did the driving trick recently on his tv show.

  • 11:03 look at his leg he hits the guy to signal him to move his arm

  • @xtian556661

That could be the psychological part of the trick. I think it's that when he's explaining it to the guy, he applies pressure to his foot when he want's him to drop his arm and releases when he wants him to raise it. And that association between the pressure on his foot and the movement of his arm subconsciously tells him what to do.

  • Lol magic...sad they call it that have they ever heard of "plants" that's what those people were, if real magic exists it does not exist on television

  • After the short pause at 1:00 his elbow is pressed up against his chest, but before the pause, his arm was straight. He is clearly deceiving those people by giving them the directions and though changing the outcome, he still manages to have the audience believe they did something wrong when they in fact did everything correctly. Brilliant!!!

  • This is fucking stupid.

  • i pierced through every trick. just watch this video a second time

  • He change hes hand when the camera was turn to the people. =.=

  • Random guess: maybe he memorized the route to take and navigated using the bumps in the road?

  • hahaha .. w 1 tricku widać że jak kamera pokazała publiczność to on obrócił rękę i mógł normalnie je odwrócić.. poza tym wszystko podstawione.. niezły "magik"

  • @thecico12345

I'd like to see you do the car trick... or the hand trick for that matter

  • these tricks are very generic tricks...the car trick all he was doing was listening to her and feeling her movements in the vehicle and from that he could get a estimate on when and where to turn, the hand moment trick was so simple and retarded.. all he had to do was feel them out and then he would have an idea how they would react, and the cup trick that was very dangerous... that's a very very sketchy trick that could easily go wrong.

  • His antanne is showing

  • it‘s magic

  • it‘s magic

  • 1:02 is exactly the point where he releases his hands shortly and then he turns his left hand while nobody is looking! Finally...

  • he's cool.of course theres no magic, but i think its cooler than other magician like blaine coz its a different genre.new thing.

  • At 7:42 he puts a rubber band or something on his finger. This is really obvious when a few seconds later when he says "I walk around night clubs all night like this" there is obviously something dangling from his finger. Full screen at 360p shows it.

  • When he is doing the hand trick he points (breaking his hand hold) into the audience when he says "yours is the other way so flip it around" and he flips his hand when putting them back together when the camera is on the audience

  • omfg!!!!! so awesome

  • I think he flipped his left hand 180 degrees in the seconds after 1:00 while the camera was on the audience. That doesn't seem fair at all for when you watch it in video.

  • HOW DA FUCK DID THE BOTTLE BREAK

  • Also the spiked cup trick was easy, he moved 3 of the 4 cups so if the spiked cup was heavier he would know that one of the cups he grabbed had the spike. Also if all 3 that he felt were the same weight then he knows its the 4th

  • He spoiled all of his tricks, really all he does is deception.

Like with the girls back it looks like he touches it when he is checking if her eyes are closed, of course when he asks the girl he doesnt specify time frame.

Also with the guys arms it is very likely considering the table cloth he just put pressure on the guys foot and showed the audience him "putting pressure" on his hand.

Really, it looks to me like hes taking advantage of the volunteers unawareness of what he is doing

  • john assaraf fav this video on his channel :3

  • He's touching her back when he's pretending to check if her eyes are closed. And just before he's coming close to her arm, he attaches some kind of thread on he's hand (7:44)

  • ... 7:42, sorry

  • i was hoping for an explaination

  • He's either playing on his own magic, using attention and deception with plants and rigged props, or if it's actual kinesis then he's using the demonic. THAT's the real deception.

  • Bull-Shit =)

  • its shit

  • lol - can't believe this kak is on Ted.

  • Hey everybody, It's the vodo trick real, I mean it's very awesome, if that is real can we do it ?

  • its easy to spot the sceptical bastards, cuz they're the only ones not clapping! hahaha

  • @svea1995 The opposite of skeptical is gullible.

  • itsd a magic show, what do you expect,

  • I still can't do the first arm trick

  • @thefanofcards13 lol same its ticckn me afffff

  • Respond to this video... as he " corrects" someone in the audiences thumb being on the wrong side which u would not need to adjust ur entire hand u have full movement of ur thumbs but keith barry takes his hands out of the original position then as he demonstrates how to do it correctly he puts his hands in a different position but its rlly hard to make out which finger is which with 10 intertwining and being limited to the one cameras angle of view

  • @SamElliott420 Wow you're so smart :)) I can do that now :D

  • @thefanofcards13 he took his hand off his other hand and put them together in an other way

  • @thefanofcards13 Not sure if troll or just stupid O.o

  • @M4Nt1sP If that was real well it's AWESOME. I tried it with my friends and it doesn't work :(

  • @thefanofcards13 At 1:01 Hes telling someone to put his hands around, then the camera turns away and he switches his hands. Just compare the hands at 0:57 and at 1:04

  • @thefanofcards13 when he tells the audience to make sure their hand is positioned right he switches his arm around.

  • @HolyReaperX01 yeah, I can do it now, thank you all !

  • @thefanofcards13 it's not a trick, after he corrects a person in the crowd he swaps his arms, thus making it possible to do the trick.

  • @thefanofcards13 It's very easy to do the magic trick.

At 00:44 he says that you have to reverse the hands. But when you look at 01:05

you will see that he hasn't reversed his left arm, look closely from 01:01 to 01:05.

    It is only human manipulation:)

  • @bajwa0069 I can do this trick now. Thanks a lot :D

  • @thefanofcards13 when he says the thumbs have to be in a position, he switches the position of his left hand

  • @thefanofcards13 or when the audience at around 1:00

  • @thefanofcards13 I guess when he told people to make sure the left thumb is outside the right thumb, he quickly changed his hand position (and the camera direction are changed too). Just my opinion and I'm not so sure...

  • @hunterblade100 That's exactly what he does, I had an illusionist explain it to me. I told him I was interested in learning a bit of magic and I had just helped out in his show (where I pretended various things, like getting an electric shock for example). So being on friendly terms he shown me how to do this. It's basically misdirection and switching hands. So 10/10. :)

  • @thefanofcards13 Unfortunately there is a pivotal camara break at a crucial change he does, but, just so I don't spoil the pleasure of discovery, try doing the whole exercise backwards. ;)

  • it all looks like a big fake magic show.. no fkin hypnosis involved

  • amazing

  • The first trick ,was he switch his hands that's why you see the video cut right after keth says to a guy In the audience you have it the other way around n let's go of his hands

  • The trick at 11:00 you can see when she moves her finger , keth moves his leg...he's putting pressure on the guys foot n releasing pressure when the girl moves her finger ..

  • To be sure to be sure!

  • He is one of my idol.

  • this guy knew the secret..... Mikes cant be trusted

  • the one where he gets the woman to pull up her sleeves is so obvious. when he is moving his hands around her arms he says he isin't touching her but he DOES....he just has quick hands. the touch is very slight and this is why her sleeves are rolled up, so she can feel the slight touch...if u notice he says to her NOT TO TLK TILL HE ASKS HER.....this is cause he wants to wait till he touches the guy for show and then asks her...u can see that she is not fully certain of the touch

  • LOL people ar guessing all wrong. He is moving his hand down because he doesnt want to mess it up for the crowd, Keith Barry even admits its fake. The pressure to do the trick correctly is what makes everything happen. That is why some stuff didnt happen exactly at the same time.

  • if someone was blind folded while in a car and was driving i would've jumped out of it by then.

  • How did that glass break?

  • 10:35-11:25 Every time he wants the man with the long hair to lift of lower his arm, he gives him somekind of sign with his left leg (just watch it, it's really obvious once you see it). Lame :s, just confirms my disbelief, although I hoped it could be real

  • @LivingTheFantasy Or.... you could look at keith's leg.. You can see that he steppes on his leg when he wants his arm up.... its more logic.

  • @LivingTheFantasy its a mentalist :) so its not mend to be real its the point to mislead LOL thats what he says in the beginning :) the art to misdirect attention.. its fun :)

  • @LivingTheFantasy He's not claiming to do real magic. He's claiming to be brilliant at deception. That's what all magicians claim. I've never understood this thing, where people expect this stuff to be real. The brilliance is in the performance and execution. The camera angle in this case was unfortunate. No one in the audience could have seen his leg move.

  • @LivingTheFantasy What the hell are you talking about? The entire presentation is about how easily people can be deceived.

  • @LivingTheFantasy

He is manipulating his brain. It's not about being some Chris Angel guy, it's about manipulating the human brain. He is doing it by releasing a pressure on the other guys leg.

    It's not lame, it's logic.

  • @LivingTheFantasy Explain bottle, please. :P

  • @LivingTheFantasy He moved his leg once upon the downward motion there was no leg motion. Review if you want but im right. Maybe its not as "lame" as you think.

  • @TheGreatJudger

Im glad you also know how its done.

This stuff is see through once you know what to look for.

    Man I love derren brown

  • @LivingTheFantasy The secret is ambiguous phrasing. The spectator was probably not planted but Barry pressured the guys leg or foot. Note: the guy never says where he feels the pressure. All our direction is focused on the hand, because he does some 'voodoo' around it, implying the pressure will be there. The spectator has his eyes closed and doesn't see the gestures and thus, isn't misdirected. Exactly the same with the girl. Watch his right hand go behind her back at 7:19.

  • As you can see the minute 11:05 when she lifts up his arm, Keith gives the signal to the other guy raising his left leg ... as well as the minute 11:16 Keith puts down his leg, I think tapping the foot of the boy, and it automatically puts his arm ...

    Keith tease someone else please!

(Keith và a prende per il culo qualcun altro!)... italian version!

  • 11:03 You can here a button that he activates with his left legg :o

  • close look between 7:43 & 7:45 looks like stretching thing like rubberband between two hands, look his leg @ 10.47 looks like making gesture to the person to indicate to raise his arm..,..... totaly fake.... these are the magician's tricks just to fool the people....

  • Haha, in another video I saw of him where he does the raise the arm lower the arm thing, he definitely moves his leg, letting the person know when to move. Quite annoying.

  • is it weird that i knew his name was mike before he said it?

  • that is so fake...

  • Is the car ride as simple as seeing through the blindfold or what? A ride that long with years of training isnt possible to do blindfolded. Humans can even walk straight blindfolded.

  • swaggin out with the white birkenstocks

  • that bottle trick is a lie, this guy jus knows some physics thats all

  • And it's weird how he made the guy "guide" him to the first two cups. Then the last two he grabbed the guys hand and put it right over the them haha. But pay attention at 17:15 its pretty suspicious what he did what the blindfold. Seems like he flipped it around or something.

  • For the cup trick. If you look at the way he holds the man's hands carefully you'll see it. For the ones without the spike he holds his hands at the wrist, letting the man's three fingers show. (Pay close attention) For the last cup, the one with the spike he covers all of the mans hands, hanging all his fingers over the man's fingers also. He is doing the two last cups at the same time, so compare the way he holds them.

  • @MystikAzn4vr

but why did he know the spike was in the last cup?

  • @1234567778999

A little mark on the wooden base?

  • @sofiasmiley Yup, classic magician's trick. Note that when he mixes the cups up, he can watch the cups directly to look for the mark. All he then has to do is watch the last mix-up through the blindfold and guide the man to the last cup...

  • the part where thevwoman is pointung, you can see his knee moving to signal

  • time waste

  • soon as the guy gets on there his phone rings, yet no1s phone rings throughout the whole entire thing. it was rang on purpose to use reverse psychology to make you believe it wasnt planned lol..... ez

  • this guy is awesome!!

  • he says its fake and a mind trick at start...why is everyone making it such a issue..its abt deceiving the mind..he says that at the start.does he say that he is a magician?? no ryt!

  • Ok....so the high class TED is now the target of cheap magic tricks ?

  • @Bracerjack I hope you don't mean to suggest that cheap magic tricks are low class.

  • @sk8rdman

I must be in a really dark place for me to even write that comment in the first place, I take back my words.

I guess at the point in time, I think of Ted as an event that teach or make one think, not an event to be befuddled [I learned this word from the Big Bang Theory ;p] that doesn't lead to any higher knowledge.

Again, it's not for me to say what Ted should be like, I am in a better place now, my mind is now more open ;p

  • @Bracerjack I don't want you to think that I hold anything against you for something you said in the past and now clearly regret, because I don't. However, I think you should recognize that "cheap magic tricks" are valuable for more than to "befuddle" alone. I believe that the arts offer far more valuable lessons and disciplines than we give them credit for. I believe that to say that "magic tricks" exist to befuddle and lead to no higher knowledge is severely inaccurate.

  • the real magic is how he is so popular by repeating cheap sleight of hand with fancy props.

  • He`s soooo from dublin north side

  • 11:04 look @ he's legs :D

  • @Xyhop yeah, his left leg is touching him.

  • Comment removed

  • Wow you guys found him out, so impressive... For the people that believe in magic in the first place... go to school.

  • Burn him, he's a witch.... er maybe not; but I'd love to know exactly how he does that.

  • He said "do you feel the pressure" not "do you feel it in your hand" watch his leg moving....

  • and whats the idea? how you do that, i missed something?

  • Crazy !

  • crazy !

  • crazy !

  • fake =)

  • I wonder how many times the cup thing went wrong?...

  • for the cup trick: the wooden cup holder with the rod in it has a small fishing wire taped to the bottom so it is really hard to notice unless you know it is there

THAT is also the reason why there is a dark table cloth

  • @XODaMAg3OX Oh I suppose something like that would explain it and then perhaps he guides the 'victim' to where he wants him to go. Clever tricks though.

  • lol at the pressure part. Bad camera angling.

  • The coke bottle trick is easy to do lol its breaks because of the tiny cracks due to rapid heating and cooling of the bottle

  • look at his hand at 13:54 ... like he's hiding something.... don't know if it has anything to do with the bottle breaking...

  • never met them my ASS...how much did they 2 jokers made that day?

  • Who do you voodoo bitch? xD

  • True Jedi.

  • idiots who get up an believe.... why think of negative energy...... dont try and things will happen anyway proving its all fake :S idiots with open mind she said she didnt believe in vodoo but she expected it all to work anyway hence... shes a idiot

  • watch his feet @ 11:00

  • lol, 11:00 you can see his leg moved up and down to warn the guy

  • when his driving blind its looks like this: watch?v=CxedfzEv6wg

they talkingabout driving blind for about 2 kilometers, and not even any scrach.... just look :D

  • ok i dont care if i m the dumbest person here, but i still dint get the first trick, inspite of reading the comments XD

  • Does this guy know about Randi Foundation?

  • thumbs up if you know how he fucked us up at the first trick

  • Long way to become derren brown!

  • @pigin007 i think he is better than darren

  • he is good, look at his left feet @ 11:20 :D

    nice one!

  • If he took her to a secret location he must have studied the road to drive back!

  • ....the most boring 11 minutes of my life ... i couldn't watch it 'till the end

  • Why I don't believe this guy? :S

  • lol at 11:22 you can see his leg moving as the hand does...

  • Every trick looks explainable. But how was the last trick done.

  • I would suggest that .".Occam's razor" be applied here . when presented with several possibilities of understanding .. the one that has the least objections.. is probably right.. This guy said outright he was going to trick you

  • O my god i love this dude

  • fail

  • @ 1:00 u can see he separated his arms, and later it's obvious he changed the position of the left arm. easy trick

  • @ivke32 the trick i wonder about is how did he change position of the left arm with out the audience noticing?

  • @ivke32 Any chance you know the name of the trick that would be awesome

  • @ivke32 You're right for the pressure, and the hands one, not sore about that voodoo touch. @ 11:04 you can see him raise his leg just a bit.

  • @ivke32 guess all the audience were in on it too?

  • @ivke32 i still didnt see it

  • keith is hot

  • at 11:04 you can see his leg move upwards and give the hint to the guy

  • he obviously touched her back at 7:20

  • Guys...of course this is bloody fake! its a magic trick!!!! the point is the way he does it and the way he directs attention away from simple actions so it seems like magic. jeez

  • @matynn you and everyone else is saying what the guy says. he said that he directs attention away, why the fuck are you repeating what he said.

  • @ahmetbyrm because some people do not seem to listen as you can see in countless comments below...

  • Comment removed

  • @SuperAndyZone - He already said it was "mind play" or fake....so no need of making it a big issue...

  • To everyone who said that this was stupid and that keith suks after the trick was revealed, ur all dumbasses. i admit i was tricked first time through, and i bet a whole lot of you were and those of u who r trying to hide their foolish pride by saying how obvious the trick was, and how only stupid people cant see it: stfu.

  • at 11:05. It's obvious that he released his left foot.

  • Coke bottle: the shard of 'glass' is actually a chemical that mixes with a small amount of another chemical that's already in the bottle and creates an explosive reaction. Ask Bill Nye.

  • Cups:

    1. the plinth with the spike is very subtly different from all the others in a way you'd have to know to identify it. He notes which it is when he rearranges them, and notes which cup it is, because:

    2. the sides of each cup have a very subtle unique texture that he feels for when holding the volunteer's hand over them. As for the volunteer guessing correctly each time, that was probably just blind luck. Magician's patter could easily cover any outcome.

  • Driving: the hood can be seen through, faintly. In the process of putting it on, he nudges the blindfold down just enough to see over it. At the end, he just surreptitiously put it back into position as he was coming to a stop, suspecting she'd pull it off like he did for her.

  • Hands: when he points at the person in the audience he changes his hand position.

Voodoo touch: Right after he says "beware of the sensations" for the last time and goes into his hocus pocus hand gestures, he quickly puts his arm behind her back to poke her. For the arm part, the sleeve of his jacket brushed against her.

"Pressure": He was just pressing on the guy's foot. But he's not a plant; pay close attention and consider what knowledge he has as the trick goes on.

  • @cameronmcd when at anypoint in that video did he brush his sleeve off her arm? thats not hows its done.

  • @XMrMagicmanX Right at around 7:47 when he's moving his hands around her arm. It's extremely obvious once you see it; you can even see her smile when she feels it.

  • @XMrMagicmanX Actually, you may be right. It looks like he slips something onto the finger of the hand that went above her arm -- probably a piece of invisible thread that just dangles down. Either way could work.

  • That is so cool!!!

  • its simple mindfuck 101

  • rubs his hands together to generate heat- makes it feel like youre being touched. hm touching the guy was the deception to the audience

  • Well, at least he was kind enough to tell the entire audience beforehand that he was fooling them.

  • But will it blend?

  • keith barry studies magic at the school of hogwartz

  • i live beside this guy haha and hes on ted

  • can anybody explain the car thing?!
