I've heard these large metal scraping noise... similar to the sound effect of dry ice on metal used in Transformers... BUT.... Transformers don't exist.... so I dunno. I personally think that there are rocks moving under earth... kinda like when your neighbor upstairs drags a heavy table or chair across the floor.

@MakinaDeMuerte By the way! I'm in Illinois near Chicago.... I've lived next to trains and have worked/been near construction sites so I know the sounds of things... plus I listen to weird electronic music and dubstep... So I know a weird sound when I hear one. lol

i heard it too... chicago.... the 23rd of of jan... it kept going on for about 3 minutes..... wasnt as loud.... more like a trumpet and on going... fuck crazy!!!!!!!!!!!

All these sounds are not a joke or a mockery of us like some people said. And they are not the «Project Blue Beam», y any case, they might be referred as "Project Horned Sound". It would be more exact.

well you do sound very intelligent and i wouldn't had any reason not to trust you , but that other video you are referring to i kind of don't buy i live in Chicago and haven't heard any of that , maybe somewhere in the suburbs yes (thats where usually weird stuff takes place :D )

@xIUBUNTUIx I live near Gurnee and have heard it... it sounds like large metal scraping or a sucking noise.... similar to a plane flying over head and ripping through the air... but it's constant and all around and you don't see anything in the sky.

Wow that is amazing that you were in Chicago during the time of that 'sound' event and heard it! Wow! It IS a weird sound..very! :-\ Thank you for including the link to the original video. I honestly think that it is part of the New World Order using HAARP to get people ready for bizzare events (yes there are websites for it, I don't have the link). Remember HAARP is a radio frequency system, also the contrails create a web for 'bouncing' information to/from. Wish I had that HAARP video

I believe you and many others are hearing strange sounds...yet I also know there are many hoaxes out there, too. It's a shame people are doing the hoaxes because it could be something that we should seriously be paying attention to. Seems like so many are "taking sides" on this - not me, there are those I trust are being truthful and those who's upload histories tell the story of their own hoaxes. Both exist. Such is life on YT, you have to sort through a lot of pebbles to find the gems.

I live near the meeting of the Illinois and Fox rivers in North Central Illinois. I heard the same noise (along with the rumble you described) on January 16, 2012 at around noon. The next day I saw the video of strange sounds around the world, and now I'm not sure what to think. I'm of the opinion that there must be a scientific, if not currently understood, explanation.

Thanks MrMB... There is a lot of false, misleading, and misunderstood things out there.... but there is a lot of strange, new, different, and mysterious things going on as well. All we can do is testify personal accounts and try to sort it out and figure it out. Your comment is much appreciated. I am in the country in E. Oregon. We have not heard that noise, but some other noises from time to time that no one can determine the source. Very odd....

Thanks so much for sharing your experience with us. We have pretty much have had only the recordings and to hear the words of actual eyewitnesses is what is needed now. watched many of your videos and you have no reason to lie,nor have I known you to ever lie! Many people around the world have been recording these strange sounds and a town near the Canadian border and its Mayor investigated a very low sound, vibrates the homes, but have not found what it to be ! I think it interesting that the sounds are very much like the shofur horn that the Jewish people blow and I only just thought of it today and now everywhere I look everyone is having the same thoughts..

I know this is a vague description but it sounded really big, not loud, just really big. I looked up but I am not sure that is where the sound originated from though.

I live in CA we have heard it out here too for that last couple of weeks at night not as loud but its there.. I have heard the Booms during the day. We live near busy roads and Highways so it id hard to tell what we are hearing during the Day but the Booms are loud.enough to Hear. At night it sounds almost like a loud train near by that goes for hours along with Moaning. It is NOT fake I have heard it.

Thats the same sound I heard in Ohio while visiting my mother after new years. It woke us up and I went outside,its in the country,and the sound was so loudit really scared us. I didnt even think to get my phone to record it because I was so amazed that I was actually hearing what I had heard on youtube.
