@plawkzer well soul blade hits once at 5 enemies, while soul driver hit 4 times at 8 enemies, so technically soul driver does 1000% damage onto 8 enemies at once. so soul driver is definitely stronger

Try to not put any points into iron body unless it's the only skill you can.

@TheFoolsArmy you know... i think that soul sprite is useless...

all they do is attract unwanted monsters to you or "ks" you...

if you max iron body, you can add 200 weopen def and make you "immortal"

well, not really immortal, it just make all physical attack from about... 90?

to 1 :)

its pretty great as a health potion saver for 1st job.. but right when you turn 2nd job, all monster attacks needs magic def.. so.. its useless again :D

One of the attacks uses up your combo counters and hits multiple enemies for a lot of damage. The other hits one enemy for very high damage.

The best Cygnus skills are aquired at level 100 and 110 for each class.

Combo attack doesn't make you attack faster, but it does give you a huge damage boost.

Try dex = level til level 60, then use gear to up your accuracy and leave your dex at 60. If you're well funded, try going dexless.

Dex = Double current lvl = Fail Warrior. A warrior's base dex should be 70 and stay 70.

Dexless is of course stronger, but you need to be extremely funded. If not, all you do on monsters will be misses, which ain't stronger 8)

I second XiiaoJiang. Don't go above 70 base dex, and try and go lower if your funding allows it.

Combine exp curve + family 2x + overpowered chars the exp will be decent. Throw in a 2x exp card, and the enormous family rep that will be rushed in, and you have a 3rd job cygnus char in no time.

Taken stright from the South Perry skill table:

Description: If struck cleanly, the monster becomes panicked. This skill can only be used when equipped with a sword and the combo all charged up.

Prerequisite Combo Attack Level 1 or higher

Comment: hits 6 monsters at all levels.

Depends what you consider better. It's difficult to compare mages to other classes, as 'what they are better at' differs.

Exactly. So the question isn't "which job better?" It just preference: whether you want to be good at attacking mobs, or having high damage.

Sword mastery, but don't max it. Leave it at level 19 and move to your next skill. The differnce between a level 19 mastery and level 20 mastery is +1 accuracy; there is no damage difference.

The less the better. If you can use gear to give yourself extra accuracy, try for that first. (100% overall dex scrolls on a b-robe work nicely.) Also, your knight will get +1 accuracy for every 10 levels of the parent character, so make your knight on your highest level char. If you are still having accuracy problems, increase your dex.

Brandish might with final attack, but from what I have read, brandish is better off w/o final attack. The cool thing is, final attack is an active skill for the soulmaster, and since it helps your dpm 2nd job, it's still a good skill to max.

You're right. The skill is now called soul driver. But compare the skill shown in the video to other videos. The skill in this video shows the attack, soul blow, only hitting one time. Since this video was made, they have changed both the name of the skill and the actual effect.

(Side Note: When typing "blow" I am tempted to replace the 'o' with a '0' since gms' filter blocks blow.) xD
