I use to have to do pushups in the 6th grade for when I disrupted the class or anything of that nature, I had no problem with it cause pushups are easy to do. I meant we can't assume to have known the reasons why he was late. We don't know what the kid's status was, either. He could've been humiliated enough for being called out.
