It's good to know that I'm not alone. I could sleep 12-14 hours a day and when I wake up I feel so horrible and guilty like I'm wasting my life away. I seriously need to make a change and need to come up with a way to fight the urge to continue sleeping. I'd like to be happy with just 8 hours of sleep. Any advice?
It will also help to write down all the reasons that you want to keep sleeping and all the thoughts and feelings you have about sleeping. For example - I like sleeping because I can avoid work.
Then forgive yourself for each point: I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to want to sleep in to avoid work.
Then you can write statements like: when I open my eyes in the morning I get out of bed immediately. Say these statements out loud everyday until you are doing them consistently.
thanks cameron. what i found for myself is that when i shared a point that i haven't yet proved to walked through, i directed myself later from my Ego - how would i look to others if i to fail instead of directing me as mySELF. i also took Bernard's suggestion as to talk only when i am align with the point i've worked on and walked through. and as you - i'm not falling on points i've previously fell by simply standing as example instead of talking about it to sustain my Ego.

i'd like to sleep less.i know that when i sleep less i am less mentally disturbed during the day.but its hard.also eating more sensibly --i weigh 145 kg.also relating to people without feeling like a shit head-whimp.it seems easy.i managed in 2006-2008 to lose 60 kg from 174 kg.then something happened in 2008 when i regained the weight.i mustsay that 10 years ago i had a more serious mental condition.i would like to partecipate in some work related activity.also read books and not only mags.ciao

For 21 days make yourself get up after only 6 hours.
When you wake up jump out of bed right away before you can make any excuses.
If you do it for 21 days it will be easier after that to get up.
