  • "Protein Powder" Great for workout . It only affects your kidneys , your liver and some other organs .... You'll feel like chuck norris before you die

  • @Chrommmy LoL you don't know anything about those things. Protein powder is just protein...it's like nesquick without fats and carbs....nothing special. Yes it's true that too much protein put a stress on your liver (generally PROTEIN from all foods not just protein power) but a healthy adult don't have to worry about that.

  • me too :) plain steel cut oats cooked just with warm water. but i dont eat it with artificial sugars. i use blue berries, banana , or apples ^^

  • Yumm. A bag of 4 blend berries at $uperstore is $5. A 12 pack quick oats is $4.

    I eat berries with microwaved oats. I prefer to drink half protein before I eat the cereal., then half when I'm done I also eat french toast. YUMM! Since its all gonna burn off, why not eh?

    Coincidence. My nephews love eating breakfast with me. Because I eat good stuff lol.

    Oh yeah, you can microwave oats in milk... for extra calcium...

  • Keep the crap (toxins) out of u such as... fast food, processed foods, SUGAR, aspartame (artificial sweetners), fried foods (trans fats), flour, table salt, enriched anything, over the counter drugs (like tylenol), prescription drugs, alcohol, etc.

    think NATURE - eat WHOLE foods, not 2 much, mostly plants. Fruits, veggies, Nuts & seeds. Meat if eaten, moderation & should be clean. Grass feed beef, wild fish (not farmed), etc. Marijuana-Cannabis-Pot for MEDICINE.

  • no it depends how many calories the powder has in it.if you go on a mass gaining supplement u will gain weight

  • Cooking kills the nutrion out of your food. I prepare my outmeal the same way except I don't heat it. Also I add nuts, cinnamon, raisins, goji, and little caynne pepper in it to help my immune system. Oatmeal is a superfood,so eat up!

  • I just made that breakfast but cooked the oats on the stove. I get the feeling though it is really high in carbs. I'm going mountain biking in an hour so i dont mind them but i just cant see myself eating that on a regular morning, maybe half the oats.

  • Looks like about a good 60grams of carbs, and no fats in the meal. I guess not for people on fat loss. The high carb low fat plan works well for some body types but not mine. On a different phase on my diet, this would be ok post workout only. I'm sure it doesn't taste bad :)
