  • Sad that the theme is the best part of the movie. But man What A Theme!!!!

  • I know Alpha C is a star, they are refferring to that solar system

  • I wanted to see Penny on Alpha Centauri :) 3 years later

  • I loved this movie yet I knew they were too ignorant to make a follow up

  • @Syzygy60 You got it. The budget was looking pretty ugly for the little bean counters in the front office. What a shame, it was about the only thing I have liked Matt L. in, I don't care for sitcoms.

  • at 3:00 is that Joey frim FRIENDS? :D

  • @no1flo yes it is....;)

  • "This cold war just got hot". Great line that makes no sense.

  • @Aerialgrrl It's got two meanings.

  • last guy to repeat the best line the movie buys

  • i apologize to john williams and anyone who was offended by my comment,I won't make excuses it was uncalled for I was trying to be funny and apparently i failed big time.I have nothing against john williams or his music,

  • I found the soundtrack for this movie in a pawn shop's 99 cent bin and bought specifically for this song.

  • cool!

  • For those who don't know, the third season theme upon which this is based, was composed by super composer, John Williams.

  • @Spindriftful John Williams (a.k.a. "Johnny Williams") composed the theme song for the whole series, every season. This version was just more popular.

  • I wonder what John Williams thought when this was released.

  • @Spindriftful I would wager he said, "VERY stylish...VERY cool...except for the ANNOYING voice overs..."

  • @Spindriftful He probably though - Hurray, more royalties!!!

  • everyone has their own opinion. I liked the flick, except for the Blarp monkey. And yes, the song rocks!!!

  • @magykfyre1; I was just a kid when it came on TV and this movie theme is the updated theme from "Lost In Space" Tv Show. Very Cool Updated Theme:

    TB:

  • "This mission sucks". Right you are, Penny Robinson. This terrific song is the only good to come out of that cinematic suck-fest. Proof positive that Hollywood doesn't get it. It stands in the Movie Hall of Shame next to the crappy film remakes of Wild Wild West, I Spy, Mod Squad, The Avengers, Bewitched, Speed Racer, My Favorite Martian, The Saint, Beverly Hillbillies, Dukes of Hazard, A-Team, et al.

  • just like I told u about Obama

  • told u

  • dididave58 I agree!

  • Horrible movie, awesome soundtrack. Apollo 440, Propellerheads and The Crystal Method. Win.

  • "Okay, last one who kills the bad guy buys the beer."

  • Wow.

The movie is a little corny, in its plot - the fx are original, though, and they tried.

This song is not at all so corny - and I think it makes fine tribute to the movie, for the story's older origins presented in today's climate, too.

    Rawk!

  • Wow.

The movie is corny. This song is not corny.

    Rawk!

  • i loved the movie and watned a sequel or new series! i loved it, plus the book had alot of stuff the movie left out

  • As shallow as this sounds, the movie looked too fucking cool for me to hate it. And this song made it even cooler.

  • this is the gayest piece of shit i have ever heard, they cudve at least put a bit of effort into it

  • @CerealIsDaBomb who taught you how to spell? The word is (Could've) Moron

  • @Jayrbf13 its the internet, take that stick out of ur ass and loosen up

  • Comment removed

  • @CerealIsDaBomb @CerealIsDaBomb It may be the internet but it is stil no excuse to be a moron and stop being a cry baby douche when some body corrected you spelling.

  • @Jayrbf13 ur the one bitching at me for expressing my opinion :D

  • @Jayrbf13 and please stop commenting cuz everytime u do i have to hear this crappy song again

  • last one to kill a bad guy buys the beers!

  • spirit of burgas opening song

  • what is the name of the movie?

  • Liked the movie, Loved the song. I wish they'd do a reboot and get it right.

  • "This mission sucks!"

  • i remember buying this song - ON TAPE! why didn't i get it on CD!!!!

  • why..so....letterbox?

  • awesome tune

  • "Okay, last one to kill a bad guys buys the beer."

    God tier catchphrase

  • @modest123 i loved the movie! i mean so what if the story wasn't that good, THE Visuals and FX were BEYOND amazing! i remember seeing this in the theater and hearing that THIS movie beat out Titanic at least for that weekend! i HATED Titanic getting so much attention!

  • apollo, you are gods! -_-

  • One of the best songs ever....

  • "Hawaii Five-O would be mint..luv these guys av all their albums ;-)

  • Maybe Apollo 440 should do an updated version of the theme from "Hawaii Five-O" for the upcomign remake.

If "Lost In Space" is any indication, it should be a big hit!

  • @altfactor i thought the same fuckin thing man!!!! cause this song remind me that theme with all those horns!!

  • Two things that I always loved on this otherwise B rated movie were Gary Oldman and this soundtrack ( sorry folks, but I don´t like Joey as You do...:) )

  • The remake of the song is great, and the movie well above par.

  • I need Apollo 440 when they're doing live....

  • @orientalflux theyre playing at a festival im goin to in bulgaria in august :)

  • "Last one to kill a bad guy buys the beer." classic

  • No he visto la peli... pero ¿a Matt LeBlanc le dieron el papel de Guy Williams?

  • Anybody knows from what song the riff originally comes from?

  • The whole movie sucked. William Hurt was beyind mis cast as John Robinson. gary Oldman was beyind miscast as Dr. Smith. Guy Williams was like a Rock and was a Centerpiece of the show. here he looked like a closet gay Man.

Smith was a Good guy pretsneding to be bad on th show. he was simply a Gullible idiot. Here in this movie he actually was a bad Guy. No fun.

They just simply Fouled it up.

If they re did it again and did it right it would work

    ly

  • they mixed this in 1998 with jean michel jarre's rendezvous making one hell of a song. they used the drum tracks from this then used the melody and synths for rendezvous and they sounded great!

  • This song Kick OFF

  • Showtime

  • many original lost in space cast members where in this movie did u notice?

  • this movie had great actors and was totally underated

  • Lost In Space the Movie Started All Modern Sci-Fi Movies we All Love Now.

  • VERY GOOD

  • splundig vur thrigg

  • scenerio

  • logical for one senerio

  • I liked the movie,I like time travel and it was logical

  • I used to just be in school busting out with "Jupiter 2...Jup-Jup Jupiter 2!" =P

  • out of the three songs that call themselves theme music for Lost in Space, granted this one takes its ques from season two, is by far the best. But a fun thing to do is take the season two theme song and play it backwards. It is just as good.......I kid you not. try it.

  • follow me

  • I concur,this rocks

  • Remember watching the movie when I was *young* years old, and I thought it was the most badass thing ever...up there with Pokemon and Batman: The Animated Series.

Looking at it now though...ah, who am I kidding, I still love it!

  • Where is Mimi Rodgers man she was HOT in this.

  • this is a bad ass tune

  • "This mission sucks!"

    Yeah, but this song's great!

  • Man i want the years that Movies like Lost In Space,The Iron Giant,Titan A.E.,Final Fantasy, and Resident Evil 1 came out in Theaters i saw the Movie Lost In Space when i was 13 years old and in a Theater called The Des Peres 14 Cine in St Louis Missouri U.S.A.

  • I can't remmber when I saw it but I loved every movie you posted and Lost in space was one of the first movies that got me hook on Sci-fi. I remmber being kick out at the end of the movie because after the movie ended after the credits I jump up really quick and yelled"THAT WAS TOTALY AWESOME!" and I guess the credits was the movie so my family got ask to leave lol.

  • @armoredtruck1984 I was 13 years old as well, and I love it. Great movie!

  • cool i liked 1st movie and this song rocks

  • They are making a sequal.. But its set for production in 2012. I believe it is about the rescue of Jupiter 2 NOT so much the family. Thats only what i've heard though :).

  • i dance ot this song..i think it is awesomee..my dance teacher picks out the best songss

  • meeeeh the movie its not particularly good... but this song... duuuuuuuuuuuuude!!!!!! bloody fucking amazing!!!!!!!1

  • @0MrSiegel0

12 years ago that movie looked amazing!

  • @HunTer4SOulSdamned I remember watching it at the cinema... I didnt liked it at all... but just my personal opinion

  • @0MrSiegel0

this wold make an awesome guitar hero or rock band song to play!

  • Opening riff on this song is fantastic

  • DANGER, Will Robinson!!

  • Lacey Chabert a +, Matt LeBlah, big zero. Song just okay, but the way it comes up at the end titles makes you think they'd make a sequel, missed they're chances. Wasn't that William Hurt and Heather gram also? Gary Oldman held this movie together like Leguizamo held Spawn together, also another terrible big screen verzh of a mediocre property with good techno songs in the credits. Orbital I believe. Was fun in theaters I guess, and did I mention Lacey Chabert? hot before her time.

  • I loved and still love this movie!

I find it to be an excellent film... just my opinion but I really enjoyed it.

  • @ronvins

Me too. I think its pretty underrated. Maybe people came down to hard on its cause its a remake. But I thought it was a fun little flick. I liked the cast and the visuals/effects were pretty damn sweet for the time too. It was cheesy at times, but it was of the good kind. It's a guilty pleasure for me.

Though its been ages since I've seen the TV show...

  • When this song played it was definately the best part of the movie. :D

  • anyone want to take the time to realise that most remakes of old movies (especially sci-fi ones) usually end up in some sort of alternate/parallel universe and that's the reason why it's so radically different from the show? I mean yes it was lighthearted. it was the 60's for God's sake, shows were made to reflect joy and peace and prosperity. this is a 1990's remake, where things get a little more realistic.

  • Pretty dang cool! I think the "Dr Smith" character in "Lost in Space" was actually an undercover proctologist whose secret mission was to find out if there are rings around Uranus.

  • Critics hated it-I loved it!

    Cool tune,

  • @dididave58 i loved it also I remember like seeing it 6 times in 2 weeks

  • @dididave58 i loved it also I remember like seeing it 6 times in 2 weeks

  • @Mollie20091 yeah lol i only watched it for the epic space battle in the beginning and then falling asleep for the rest of it then waking up to this song

  • Hahahahaha

  • cool movie & song! if u didn't like the movie u weren't stoned enuff!

  • What a huge tune on a big stereo!!!! This THUMPS!!!!! Can't wait for some new Apollo 440, apparently it was due September this year but has been delayed!!!!! GRRRRR

  • Very nice movie, nice song btw =)

  • I saw the Movie the Saturday Afternoon of teh wekend it opened. Except for about 3 parts the whole Film Literally Sucked. the sappy sweet, AWE,, type ending made me want to throw up.

It was all TOO SERIOUS ! the show was light hearted and Humorous. That's what made it endearing to Millions.

Another Movie with a Better script would be Mint ! Bring back the Original cast, with Will Robinson ( Billy Mumy) in charge with June Lockhart as a Matriarch an Let's GO !

  • This song is pretty much the only good thing to come from this movie. And even it is kind of ruined by Matt LeBlanc.

  • Quanto schifo faceva 'sto film...

  • Great theme, shame about the movie

I'll never forget the spring of '98

  • the movie rocks!!! check the blu ray!:P

  • nice beat but crap movie

  • Crappy movie, but A440 always rocks.

  • I thought it was good...what a pity it was flopped at the box office. I noticed that the guy who played Joey in Freinds career flopped after that as well

  • The movie actually started out pretty promising...aaaaaaand then went straight to shit. The first half started off well, though. The time travel bit, even though it was cribbed directly from the original series, just didn't fly with me. The movie got a bit...lost. This bit of music was the only true highlight. I loved it.

  • Man those drums they great

  • Funky song, decent fun movie too.

  • ..Rock in rol!!!

  • is this the normal version? the sound clips from the film are different in this I swear.

  • How about a sequel - this time with a deeper plot?

  • That would be really cool...but don't think it'll happen

  • They had sequels lined up (all the principal cast was signed up for 3), but it did so poorly at the box office, it was scrapped

  • being an original watcher of lost in space, channel 9 5.00 pm m to friday, i can vouch this version does justice to the orginal :-)

  • great song from a shit movie

  • goshhhh great great great

  • Nice Guitar solos :D!!

  • Missed this song. Thanks for posting.

  • apollo 440 and john williams... good combination..

  • @boomboomcanon Is that what the main brass sample is from? It sounds so familiar but I can't put a name to the tune...

  • A nice, updated version of the theme music from the final season of the original TV series.

  • Amazing song!!!!!

  • awesome song

  • i love this movie!! i love this song!

  • i remember when i was 8 coming out of the theatre from a Lost in Space show thinking it was the coolest movie ever, then I watched it recently... oh god i was a stupid 8 year old :p

  • Hahahaaah thumbs up man.

  • It's amazing how youth will color your perceptions. I've been recently going back and re-viewing some movies that I loved when I was a kid.

I've discovered two things: 1st - I watched some really crappy stuff (and loved it),

2nd - My kids think I'm crazy when they watch some of this stuff with me (or at the very least, have really bad taste).

  • LOl i dont rerun my faves, why destroy the fantasy LOL ps im 43

  • 2:20-2:40, best bit in the song

  • tua mamma è lasbica!

  • nice & high energy :-)

  • not the best film but by no means the worst anyway a koooooooooooool tune ';-)

  • Cool song - Was kinda shit movie - but loved it anyway

  • This film had an 8omillion budget, Wth did they spend it on, Coffeee??

The Films Terrible, but Love this song :P

  • lol

  • was very cool music and VERY COOL movie!!

  • "Danger Will Robinson! Danger..." this movie sucks! But the music video is cool !
