Evolution by implication does suggest that one species might change into another species overnight, or over one generation to be more exact.

Lets say species A splits into A and B at some point a speciem of A would have offspring that are B. Even if there is a grey area it would be so grey as to make it indistinguishable to make it unrecognisable as a diffferent species.

BYW: I am a Christian who has always accepted evolution. The two don't have to be mutually exclusive. All one needs to understand is the difference between "knowing" and "believing". My faith does not require that I prove every verse in the bible. Likewise, Christ never required us to be ignorant.

Evolution is great for explaining almost all life on the planet, it is not that evolution is not real it is that it is insufficient in explaining mankind, what caused the speeding up of evolution in the human species? I mean missing link to say the least if you don't have the evidence and it seems to need more evidence it stands to reason that even in the system of belief called evolution man is not explained, so I think we can chalk that up to a mystery in the eyes of evolution.

what your describing is learned behavior and not instinctual. Its not directly passed from parent to offspring via dna or such.

However, it is done indirectly as it is a generic trait that more complex species have parent/child relationships that are much more involved than simpler life forms ( a fish lays eggs and leaves forever, a bear raises its cubs and teaches survival skills)

This is a great video, but I don't understand part of it. I get the evolving from one species to another, but what about one family to another? Like, how does creature A produce a, say, bear and a fox ultimately without us still having creature A today? Also, why would humans have music, art, etc. if it is not a survival mechanism? I mean, what is the point of having that stuff from a nature stand point? Also, if we are an ape hybrid, why isn't their an intelligent fox hybrid that paints?

Those are good questions and i'll try my best to give good explanations one at a time. So why does creature 'A' no longer exist now? That would be due to changes in environmental pressure. Creature A may have been an optimal choice under circumstances in the past but a change in environment (as simple as a slight change in temperature) would result in some of the mutated offspring being better adapted. These offspring have a greater chance of reproduction than A and become more prominant.

In effect the evolved offspring (creature B) steal reproductive opportunities from A causing the old genetic designs to die out from the over all population. Sometimes both types exist in parallel and the old types arent removed.

Imagine an eye very different from the present eye that is fully functional but not very effective. In this eye, develop redundant structures like an extra but better lens, an unnecessary iris, etc., each of which confers some benefit but is unnecessary. Finally, the original (now redundant) structures are removed, since they are no longer important to the structure of the eye.

Voila! An "irreducibly complex" eye.
