  • Why Vista Sux

  • I never got a BSOD on Vista, i guess i'm lucky :D

  • BSOD after 1 minute??? It's fast

  • my vista crashed one time but it runs properly always

  • first reaction by me! :D

  • If it has nothing to do with your Hardware, try to perform a recovery.

  • Fuck Vista - install 7!

  • i have linux :D

    no bsod

  • @Awesome619Legend Linux are sucking. it ber terrible

  • i think bsods are fun because then i get to fix them :D

  • that computer was designed to run just ms-dos 1.0 XD XD XD XD XD XD XD XD

  • i have a vista laptop and when my uncle tried to install windows xp heave black edition and one point it gave him the blue screen of death

  • no sata driver

    waaaaaaaaaaaa

  • @johndiesel88107 The Notebook has IDE Hard disk, not SATA

  • @johndiesel88107 you are a complete idiot.

  • 1 day, My Sister,s Computer Got A BSOD!!!!!!

  • How much ram does that have? Besides, Stenudden is right, stick with XP it's much better.

  • @Eggs6131 Don't you people who love XP so much know that microsoft stopped supporting it? Its not going to be the best OS ever once it has more viruses than some porn sites.

  • @siriusgamer

It doesn't matter, Windows XP still supports most anti-virus programs.

  • @siriusgamer It's still being supported until 2014 - 2 years after they're ending support for Vista Home Basic and Home Premium...

  • @Eggs6131 1 Gb di RAM

  • @mkonsel

Then it should be fine, I wonder why it's doing that...

  • I get THAT in QEMU! Trying to use a Vista/7 iso :O

  • The blue screen of death makes me heaps nervous i always thing i have broke my laptop

  • Corrupted iso?

  • lol :D

  • Just stick to xp much better ;)

  • Check the size of Random Access Memory (RAM) in your computer.

Excessive use of computer or a malfunctioning cooling system can make computer/laptop overheated.

    • Registry is the most vital part of Win 7. Corrupt registry is the biggest reason for BSOD in Win 7. One way is to clean registry manually but manual tricks could wreck your system completely if you are not a top notch computer expert. More appropriate way is to buy a good registry cleaner reg ion out and PC optimizer

  • #LOL it finished loading and BOOOOOOOOOM! (This laptop is designed to run MS-DOS only XD)

  • got the bsod yesterday i think. fine now

  • A perfect example of Microsoft quality. What operating system were you trying to install Vista over?

  • Lol i never saw a BSOD in person. I don't know what you habe. u just can't use a PC.

  • @GTAGAMECounterShot You are SO lucky! I'm very familiar with the BSOD. One of the ones I had was triggered by a virus that promptly erased my hard drive, including ALL of the final papers I had to write for school. All but one of them (which happened to be the most important one!) were backed up. I failed the class where the paper wasn't backed up. T_T

  • 2gb? omg that is so out of date now we have 4-6 gb memory and 1tb-5 tb hard drives just in the past 3 years! omg omgojgmomgomgg ololololol COMPLETE OUTDATE COMPUTARRR, obtw my windows vista laptop has bsod at random times when it boots it says "OLOL HARDWARE FAILURE" :P but i push it on and on.. obtw i had a dell laptop 512 mgb windows vista 400 megabyte and it even ran windows aero! but it crashed cause of cpu's incapability to process the vistas hardware crup and like alot of other things...

  • @Zarac1121123 My current computer has 99GB of hard drive space and 1.75GB of usable RAM. The processor is only 1.60GHz. This is a brand new computer, too!

  • ich würde vorschlagen -> ALLES NEU :D

  • If worse comes to worst, you can get a Macbook.

  • I heard that not only older systems had trouble installing/running Vista due to compatibility issues, some or several "Vista Ready" PCs had some issues with installing/running Vista... >_> If they were meant to be "Vista Ready," they should have been 100% compatible, with only a few systems labeled as such having issues.

  • dude

its obviosly cause of hardware failure

ur a fucking retard to blame an OS for that...

  • o.o your comp is better than mine and i installed Vista Ultimate easily o.o

  • lsiten to my advice, throw ur pc outside

  • acer sucks

  • MAC FTW

  • Try changing your HDD controller from "new technology" to "legacy."

  • Try changing your HDD controller from "new technology" to "legacy."

  • whatever it´s just vista :-D

  • Installers can give bsods? That is pure win.

  • @cheat12code Well, technically, the installer runs a stripped down version of windows, so yeah, it's perfectly possible. Even 9x used a stripped version of DOS.

  • on average

i get those blue screen twice a month

  • @maxstein2011 oO you should go fix that. i never get it

  • Look like the BIOS is set to boot from CD/DVD first, this may be the issue

  • WHAT DO YOU EXPECT ITS A ACER

  • whats wrong with that?? Vista is the problem in this case!

  • Huuuurrr

  • acer rocks ..

you just dont know how to maintain them properly!!

  • i have my acer laptop :D, anyways ACER is a Turkish Company :P

  • Some operating systems dont work on certain computers. Acers are the worst computers. At best buy one of the acer computers had windows xp! NOT WINDOWS 7!

  • probably because acers are usually garbage

  • wrong. acers are *always* garbage.

  • @eggman01010101

    fuck you,,,you are garbage

  • look broseph.... you just cant buy a good acer. they simply dont exist. you could buy a better laptop at fucking walmart x]

  • @eggman01010101 You are such a fucking retard. I have an Acer Aspire 8930 and it works. I stuffed my Windows with mac style... Vista!

  • @eggman01010101 I have an Acer! My friend just sold it to me... it's worked so far... lol

  • @eggman01010101 Their Aspire One laptops are good though. Free Android OS! ^_^

Also, Vista itself sucks. It doesn't have to be Acer. HP is *always* garbage.

  • @eggman01010101 no its true my old laptop ( which was an Acer ) has the BSOD and my grandpa had to call *gasp* THE GEEK SQUAD! and they fixed it somehow

  • @eggman01010101 You're right. ACER are allways garbage. That's why I can use my labtop still, though I spilled coffee in the keyboard. And that's why it is still working, though it has been off the fan for several times when turned on (well, an accident). And it sucks that it still works after I dropped it (also an accident).

    All in all... ACER SCKS!

  • Hey guys! i got the bsod when Installing Windows 99, Installing a network apdapter, and again, again. SEE?

  • u got acer man u rock!

  • The laptop is clearly too old to run vista anyway. See how careful the person filming was not to show the side of the laptop with the stickers on it. That's probably because they will say designed for windows 98 o win2k

  • @mikee286 : Athlon 64 2 Ghz, RAM DDR 400 2 Gbyte, NVIDIA FX5200, 160 Gb Hard Disk.

    It'ok for Vista? ;-)

  • @mkonsel yes!

  • @mkonsel >2GB RAM

i'll fuck you for that ram

  • @mkonsel Theres no way that could handle such a running software! lol jk more like the running software is to slow for the computer

  • @mikee286

    yeah... you've right :)

  • it says pci.sys

    you'r pci slot is broken.

    repair you'r notebook ;)

  • your note book is proly a 5 year old pos

  • BSOD during vista installation. It cant software problem.

Prolly u are trying to install some bad cracked OS or your computer is broken.

Are u some mac or linux lover ?

  • Comment removed

  • That BSOD scares me every time I see it! Why did they put a blue screen up anyways? It's not fun to look at. I used to get those on my old Windows XP computer. Now I just got my new computer and I haven't seen that screen. I bet Mac doesn't get those annoying screens!

  • Actually, BSOD is just a warning and the blue screen is supposed to calm and relax you. Its proven that the color blue calms and relaxs the mind

  • BSOD doesn't relax me, and 20 lines of random writing doesn't relax me either.

  • Funny,i have a iMac and there is also bsod for macs... i got only one tough from 4years of using mac it was my ati card not compatbile with mac so i changed it

  • @oxnardcollegegirl200 Mac had a BSoD once, but Apple actually addressed the problem.

  • @oxnardcollegegirl200 Yea, mac just has this little annoying spinning circle where your mouse is, and the screen freezes. that way, you don't know anything is wrong with it for 2 min. and it doesnt shut down automatically.

  • @oxnardcollegegirl200

Mac gets the dead mac face. Even scarier.

  • @oxnardcollegegirl200 Well I've used Windows since 1996 And I've had just about every single windows since then, Never seen the BSoD.

  • I think Windows will prevent you from pissing off it it just skips the BSOD and lets you get pass it..(like the 95-ME) days :D

  • THANK YOU. I Just got a XP and It Got a BSOD when it started up and waited 5 mins. its first encounter of bsod so just restart

  • i need help no have cd

  • that is not BSOD my computer has EXPERINCED IT FOR A LOT OF TIMES!!

  • 0x00000007E is a hardware problem. even linux would blue screen on that (well, kernel panic). says absolutely nothing about the stability of the OS

  • Low Ram?

  • 2 Gbyte DDR 400Mhz ;-)

  • @mkonsel 400 MHz is too slow 667MHz is the least I guess..

  • @mkonsel 400mhz? i have 2.27 ghz :P

  • @rinkavideos64 Me too LOL! And I have four gigs of ram.

  • @rinkavideos64

    you replied to yourself...

  • @mkonsel low ram speed :D

  • get vista and rocket dock

  • its a acer.... you get what you pay for.... to me it looks like you have some bad bios settings... however you could just be using some crappy downloaded copy off the net and hence the results...if that aint it... then you have some bad ram.... or the board could just be gone.... acers have a very poor lifespan... that paritcular series is known to have major defects... i have 4 maybe 5 of them laying around my house...3 of them have dead boards.... the other one has a broken hinge (very common)

  • Did you find out what was causing it?

  • Comment removed

  • Could be a number of things. The hardware could be faulty, the CD may be corrupt, etc. It isn't always the OS.

  • I would love to stick with Windows because that's what I usually use, but if this keeps up, Apple may be gaining a new customer.

  • I have enough problems in my life that I am trying to solve. I would love to be able to get online and watch a show I love or listen to music I love in peace. I am not putting anyone down who helped create Vista, but I promise you, there should have been some quadruple checking before this OS was released to the public. I'm using Vista to post this, and it's not ironic because my laptop kept shutting off until Vista got its act together. This is very irritating.

  • Every time my laptop crashes (Vista), I always get that "Windows has recovered from an unexpected shutdown" message. I click the "View problem details" and get something that involves a BSOD, that much I know. Then of course there's the so-called "solutions" that Vista searches for online...amazing how no window opens up to show us whatever this "solution" is. Microsoft can give us a gajillion messages telling us what's wrong with our computers, but is silent when it comes to "fixing" them.

  • yep my too

  • i got a prob with my screen its got yellow lines running down it is that a video card problem or what? yellow lines show up on everything thats white just bout

  • ive got a weird problem with my windows 7, it doesn't bsod but it just hangs when booting, this only happens when i run a specific program before turning off or restarting the system

  • 7E error means leak of free HDD space! Clean or format your HDD!

  • the hard disk was clean and formatted. 120 Gb FREE

  • @mkonsel dooooood 120gb is shiiiiit! u would need at least 300gb and thats just the vista files themselves!

  • @mkonsel you say there is a 160GB hdd now you say 120gb... besides this thing looks like it was made for 95...

  • @Aeorel I think ya mean 8E

  • Have you try to disable PCI slots or another futures in BIOS ?

After Installing Windows you may enable them and it may work's good.

  • HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! man i love you PC guys, you are all hilariously stupid still using this outdated shit, it use to be cute the whole kind of 'i'm sticking with PC because i'm old school' but it's just kind of sad now that you STILL use this broken software that has had the BSOD and Virus's since the day go. You pay more for a Mac, because it works, and you can even now partition your hard drive to run Windows. It's nice going to my computer and knowing that it will work.

  • yea but we don't have to buy a new computer every freaking time a new software comes out. and macs don't get viruses because people don't want to waste there time hacking the easiest thing to hack

  • if it's so fucking easy and quick to hack then go ahead and put a virus out you dickhead, go on you idiot cunt, make sure to send it to me.only 1 mac has ever been recorded as being hacked, some 'hacking convention', but that guy was sworn to secrecy as to how he did it and helped them fix it. Secondly, you don't need to buy a new computer every time new shit comes out, new stuff like Leopard will run on computers quite a few generations before. Any other bullshit you wanna come out with?

  • oh yea then why is it that not that many people use macs. because the are total garbage

    homless bastard

  • You really are an idiot, more people are using Mac's now than ever, think about all the stuff that everyone uses iphones, ipods, itouch, itunes, they'll obviously never out sell the PC's because they're so god damn fucking cheap but majority of people have all the above gadgets, because they know they'll work. Calling me homeless? hey fuckwit, i'm the one who can afford a Mac, what are you using a shitty 499.99 dollar Dell hahaha

  • Lool, why should i buy mac that cost 3000euro with no i7 supported or 285GTX or 295GTX supported? and i buy a pc instead with I7 and 295GTX on it for 1000euro only?t ell me why? idiot.

Windows owns the os market by 95% percent.

Just wikipedia microsoft and wikipedia apple and see who earns more and lot of otehr differences.Pwned

  • if you only had at least one braincell in your small PC head you would realize that you don't buy a mac to play games on, that's why i bought a PS3, because it has blu-ray gaming, unlike Bill Gates's awful 360 which isn't even HD even though it's through an HDMI cable, it's 'good quality' standard definition, i think it looks like ass. Fuck your graphics cards, if you want something to play games on buy a GAMES CONSOLE, i bought my Macbook because it does what a computer should.

  • okay i am sick of arguing.

  • also, if you'd actually read what i'd written, i said that Macs will never outsell PC's, and that is only because PC licensed off their software to shitty cheap Asian companies, whereas Mac stuck with what works i.e make machines for the software you have developed, so before you say 'pwned' actually read what i write before you reply and make yourself out to sound like a fucking tool, god damn you PC faggots are stupid

  • made by shitty asian companies.

if you were smart enough to look at the back of apple products you would see that on the back it says made in china

  • yeah they're made in China,by a licensed Apple manufacturer, my point is,that Windows licensed off their software to companies like Dell/Toshiba etc, that's why they are so bad because there's no real connection between Microsoft and these companies, whereas Apple, write software AND designed the laptop machine the way it was intended, hence why it works.Sick of arguing, because you'll never win the argument, the only thing is gaming, which we can now do as well because Macs can run Windows. WIN

  • omg such a dumb idiot^^ before you try to correct or make fun of someones response, inform about what's really going on! in usa/australia it's the most popular os, everything is more mature just look at the poor amd/ati drivers. also for mac were even cpu's with 8 cores available whereas for windows just some with 4 cores started.

  • 8cores dosnt exist u real fucking retard the best cpu is i7 and is 4 cores and is not supported in mac

  • There are no octo-core processors. There are quad-core processors, and there are dual-socket motherboards. Apple's "eight core" Mac Pro uses two quad-core Xeon Nehalem processors.

  • That $499 Dell is more powerful than a shitty $1100 Mac.

  • so what... macs are equally as good as a pc. besides i hate dell my dell dimsension 5150 2 days after i got it had killed itself. MACS RULE DELL SUCKS

  • Your comparing an OS/Hardware manufacture to a manufacture?

    ...

  • i hate mac -.-

  • well thats your opinion and i respect that

  • You best be trollin', nigga!

  • windows vista dosent work on notebooks

  • just don't install vista on notebook

  • looooooool!!!

  • 1:04 rofl watch it just blink blue

  • delete pci.sys... :) Sometimes work...

  • that was happening to me sometimes even few times in a row after restart, but now its all ok, since i have toshiba which supports recovery to original factory state...

  • I had this happen to me to. I formated my hard drive and every thing was back to normal then.

  • That says more about the owner of the PC than the OS...sigh

  • your system driver for pci is corrupt

  • haha sorry for u guy

  • i never got a bsod i had 95 ME xp and now i have vista

i have to say the worst ones were my two xps

  • Most BSOD's are caused to hardware problems, mainly RAM, I personally have never gotten a BSOD while using Vista.

  • Yeah i know i had so many BSOD and error i just Formated everything and installed Vista Lite.....

  • Must have been something in your computer, probably a RAM problem, it's not the OS, it's what the OS detects wrong, which causes the BSOD.

  • yeah i know but not all BSOD is beause of ram...But ram was the second problem...like when i run Vnware it crash....or when i use up to much ram it crash...my computer was full of junk for ipod hack and PSP hack and stuff i cant uninstall.

  • It must be your hardware, b/c I never have gotten a BSOD with Vista, or even running 7 in a Virtual PC, and now, that I have installed on a another HDD so I can boot to either Vista or 7.

  • yeah small ram tried to run to much stuff but with vista only had two BSOD acidently install the wrong sound driver..but thet realse a update to fix...

  • dude hiis dell its 2.3 ghz its eghouf powerfull to run it and dont worsk see!

  • Acer can't even run XP very well on their new computers, so forget about vista :)

  • apparently your using DDR RAM, u need DDR2 to run Vista. AND for Home Basic at least 512MB and for Ultimate, Home Premium and Business at least 1GB

  • An ancient ACER trying to run Windows Vista when it likely has ancient memory?

    Bad idea.

  • Vista + SP1= Fine + SP2 beta= Awesome.

  • Acer + Vista without SP1 = Problem

  • Hm... Clearly you cannot blame Vista, because 'you' have done something wrong! There is no such error or bug which does that. Something must be wrong with your hardware

  • vista is SOOO bad, i have both vista and a mac. Mac beats it by a bazillion

  • And that's why Mac is way more expensive? It's kinda obvious, mac has to be much better because of the price they ask for their software..

  • Its 100% memory problem.

  • Is not the Windows Vista problem, is your RAM with bad blocks!

  • nvm it wasnt originaly vista lol

  • tht happend to the laptop im on right now to fix it take the backup disks u made wen u first booted vista and and it will reformat the computer to how it was wen u first got it

  • your problem is that its an acer

  • Haha many acer's come with Vista some of the desktops are really good and will fly if you know how to mod them.

  • u sure u had the right copy of vista and not just some illegal crappy copy someone lent you?

u say u hav an acer, what are the specs?

  • its an acer .. suprised it even powers up

  • had my acer notebook for 2 years with vista. no problems at all.

  • I saw this blue screen like this at my local library!!!!!!!!!

  • so how exactly did you know that it was gonna crash so that you could film it? Must mean its happened before, hence its your fault not vista's.

Buy a proper pc and then install it you blundering fuckwit

  • lol! exactly! Obviously the laptop can;t hack it - lacks the hardware requirements for a successful Vista installation!

  • He must slipstream, the sata driver into the cd of windows xp or vista ;)..or else he will get the bsod

  • lol it doesnt matter about the manufactuer is caled, its the hardware inside and i doubt thats a problem, this guy is probs installing vista on a laptop which is not capable of running it, get a desktop computer m8 not a laptop next time.

  • whayyyyy

  • Guys, it's not because he's running an Acer.

    It's because he's installing Vista.

  • Kid, it's not because he's installing Vista, it's because you dont know shit about IT :-)
