Lighten up, have whatever kind of celebration you want and let other people do the same. Trust me...the solstice has been celebrated by pretty much all cultures since humans have been able to measure the year. Y'all were not only not the first, you aren't even among the oldest.

I don't discard the european traditions that christianity grafted from european peoples during yule.I still love a snowman,a "christmas" tree,goodies and gift exchanging and such...why do all these yule tiders substitute some dreary cave vibe in it's place?
