I'm currently playing this completely blind and I never took the time to learn how to replenish units, so I've been fighting with my my recruited commanders in the red.

I conquered Mamushi Oil Fields with 3 units.

wow u sure like taking risks...i usually put twice as much army into those battles for safety measures, but for u, i guess the risks really payed off

The ultimate risk...

attacking 3 or Hara's castles by the end of turn 3, and then invading 2 of Ashikaga's oil field castles on turn 4 (If they declare war on you).

Risky, but this tactic makes it possible to have a 3rd action fan by turn 13 or 14.

in my game, i don't start the war till end of turn 5.... automatically, so i just used rance satisfaction for reinforcements and gain money from imposing with my 2 fans...
