i have a 1980 ovation 6 string that is almost the same except for the head stock. It is a finished wood ovation head stock with gold tuning pegs and gold letters ovation.

Thanks. The 12 string is an old Ovation model 1615-4.  I believe it is from the mid 80's. I have 3 Ovations and love them all!
