Oh... just watched another vid. Looks like it's best for times when you can pre-plan your camera location and subject location(s), so that you can mark where the focus needs to be at certain times, so that you're not having to hunt for the focus through the viewfinder "on the fly". Probably other benefits also...

Okay, this is probably a stupid question, but what is the advantage of using something like the SYSTEM ZERO instead of just focusing using the focus ring on the lens itself? I've only done a little bit of video, so maybe I don't know what I'm missing (with a "follow-focus system").

This looks like wonderful lite follow focus, but I see on the shop site that you have to choose a camera, and there isn't t2i option. Will there be any problem fitting it to 550d/t2is?
