  • take that fucking hat off.

  • So in what way does this improve the way you focus?. It doesn't rest on shoulders for better stabilization etc it's just another ring but on the side

  • i've been hearing this lens auto-focus issue..... is that true this lens has a lil problem AFing?

  • Follow focus can be very handy, but this one is $399. 400 bucks for a f****** hardware kit, get real.

  • I dont get it? why cant you just use the normal focus ring? Have to get an extra thingy to the side...

  • I got a black screen for 1 min

  • Arnie? Calm down matey.... this is not yet another Terminator movie :)

  • Get to the chopper!!!!

  • i have never heard someone that monotoned ever :O

  • Get to the chopper!

  • $399!!!!!! your kidding?

  • @HomeDistiller it's so expensive..OMG...

  • you sound like a porn photographer

  • Nice hat, Pepe Le Pew.

  • Ösi? :DD geiles Englisch^^

  • It would be interesting to see the unit operated. Why not show it being used?

  • 1:02. You have failed us.

  • nice hat

  • lol schwarzenegger =D

  • this stuff is over priced. its too expensive for simple metal parts

  • @RonaldsSulcs exactly and doesnt give a bit plus at all... with almost the same effort you can just turn the ring on the lens :)))

  • The Hocus Focus by Hocus Products is a good remote controlled alternative.

  • which is the best lens for canon 600d uptill 200mm both video & still photography?

  • Oh... just watched another vid. Looks like it's best for times when you can pre-plan your camera location and subject location(s), so that you can mark where the focus needs to be at certain times, so that you're not having to hunt for the focus through the viewfinder "on the fly". Probably other benefits also...

  • Okay, this is probably a stupid question, but what is the advantage of using something like the SYSTEM ZERO instead of just focusing using the focus ring on the lens itself? I've only done a little bit of video, so maybe I don't know what I'm missing (with a "follow-focus system").

  • come on $400 for that..? Why is this stuff so overpriced!!

  • GET IN THE CHOPPER!

  • @cameraperson

lol. Is that an Arnold reference?

  • DEMO ???

  • first get your german accent away. second dont wear hats because your bald

  • @streetballwarriors - wow - what a stupid comment. ORIGINAL POSTER - nice video, the follow focus is interesting, can you show a demo of its operation? Thanks

  • @captainjman1976

I agree. When I saw the comment all I could think of is how much a clown the person making it must be.

  • i love to buy that thing

  • Mike you need to open your own camera store. You have some of the best tips I've ever seen.

  • is it still the old icd run and gun standard follow focus set wich u use at the on t your cam or the new system zero set + an extra "SYSTEM ZERO Follow-Focus Spacer" wich we can see later at the video?

  • @mahatmaray yup

  • WILL DO SO, but I don't get it, this is not supposed to work, you are not always focusing on the middle of the screen! !!!!! Not logical!

  • he reminds me those guys from "The Big Lebowski"

  • looks very cool. so amazingly overpriced.

  • nice austrian accent ;)

  • It looks nice, but I would prefer the focus knob be parallel to the lens.

  • I think he's mad.

  • too expensive!

  • Got this Follow Focus, and I love it :D

  • in soviet russia... the camera is in control of the photographer....

  • @NateHail he is austrian, not russian ;)

  • ya know, if it wasnt so goddamn ridiculously expensive.... alot more people would buy that hands down. now i cant even get one, id never waste 400 bucks on that id rather use some zipties!!!

  • Hi Mike, I like your less is more review, having found the system your review ticks the shall I invest box! Cheers, Simon.

  • This looks like wonderful lite follow focus, but I see on the shop site that you have to choose a camera, and there isn't t2i option. Will there be any problem fitting it to 550d/t2is?

  • thumbs up, if u drop the camera onto the floor at the end...

  • Thanks so much...I was looking for this type of setup...don't think I need all that other stuff they have out there now...thanks again.

  • awesome stuff mike

  • your so close to the lens, why not just reach over another half inch and focus from their??

  • you're videos are always informative but straight to the point I love them. thank you.

  • OMG… You have the 50mm 1.0??

  • @LivingForLOL

50mm 1.2 check my channel for videos shot with it

  • @mike24p is there even a 1.0?? or is 1.2 the largest 50mm made?

  • @martymellway There was ,from 1989 till 2002. Actualy it was so bad they kick it out off their lens program.

  • @martymellway there was. but since it was heavily overpriced and performence was too weak they canceled the production. its just not worth the effort.

  • looks very compact, unlike most solution

  • awesome Mike. thanks.

  • @vampost thanks!
