If you listen to the commentry of Times Square from Robin Johnson & Allan Moyle they aint real taken with this song. Moyle describes it as 'lame' and Robin makes a few noises to display her distaste. This is a good song in it's own right though it doesnt fit in with the movie at all.
great movie , my daughters & i have seen it heaps of times. it comes up on e bay second hand dvd fairly regular . its got everything . '' im a damn dog now '' lol get into it , it rocks greg australia
The "Times Square" soundtrack has got to be one for the ages. The musical lineup was a rock-n-roll tour de force. All the cutting-edge artistes (New Wave, Punk,etc.) were well represented.
Now, I'm not one of the one's who are going to wax sentimental about pre -Gulianini Times Square--having seen it for myself--or speculate about the lesbian subtext in the movie, but I do know I got a blast out of it, and the still-young Tim Curry was hot as hell as the rebel DJ.

Got the Time Square soundtrack copied onto CD and every song is fantastic - why can't they release the soundtrack officially. Love this song.
