Ford Mustangs have a lot of muscle in the engine. It is a fast car. I like how you can change the back lighting in the instrument cluster and the cup holder. It would be nice if the lights would auto switch colors every 20 minutes or so, on the cup holder. Of course you can turn it on/off. My brother had the 80's Mustang.

only 300 HP yet it does 0-60 in 5.1-5.2 seconds depending on the major sites you check (Edmunds, Motor trend, KK) the RT does it in 5.8-5.9. The brand new Camaro SS does it in 4.6-4.7. 2010 mustang drops it down to 4.9. HP isnt everything. All 3 are great cars but if tenths of a second mean that much your going to mod your car and track it. All have great American muscle looks.

I have a 2006 Ford Mustang GT and I love it. The Challenger and Camero were copied from the Mustang. To me they wanted them to look similar to the stang....No matter what the stang was here first and will always be the king of the muscle cars. challenger is way better than the stang. looks better has more performance from the R/T and obviously SRT/8 and dont mention the GT500 because that costs a lot more. And they didnt improve suspension or brakes on the gt500 all they did is add another 200hp with no adjustments to anything else

no! the dodge challenger rt acually cant even go from 0-60 in under 5 seconds 6.2 is its 0-60 time which is about a second slower than the get and the gt500's handling isnt too bad the challenger srt8's is too soft in the corners and the gt500 has bigger brakes and stiffer suspension i dont know what the fuck your talking about and i dont think you do either

its a acually in the six second range they tested the manual on car and driver and the gt500 doesnt cost a whole lot more mabye 5 grand more and it has 75 more horse power

the challenger srt8 can do 0-60 in 5 seconds or less...i've seen videos of the 300C srt8 going from 0-60 in 4.76 seconds with the onboard digital readout so the challenger weighs just as much and has the same parts basically...its not 6 seconds

thats why a stock gt runs 13's and an rt runs in the 14's in just about every test. pretty sad considering the gt came out 5 years ago and hasnt had an engine upgrade since and it still beats a new challenger rt with like 375 horsepower and an extra litre

car and drivers offical stats for the challenger r/t:0-60 6.2 seconds 0-100 14.8 seconds 1/4 mile 14.5 seconds top speed 142 mph. the mustang gt bullitt(reg gt no longer in stats column) 0-60 5.1 1/4 mile is 13.7 and top speed is 151mph. the gt has similar numbers.

I don't think it compares at all to the challenger, Maximum of 300 horses??? Come on! However, I love the solid rear axle. But really, you have to have a shelby to compete with the challenger or upcoming Chevy when it comes to horsepower, 425 out of the box for the srt8... Makes the stang look like a toy, not to mention it's styling is old news now, they should have thought ahead and remodeled for '09, they will lose alot of sales to the challenger. However I'd still choose the stang

the challenger is too heavy. the mustang is light and pulls a 13.8 in the 1/4 mile. put an exhaust and cold air on it and it will beat the srt8. its already faster than the 5.7 rt
