I was going to reset my playstation and see if that worked but I dint wanna lose my data. Anyone know if thats a trick way to beat her? kind of like the The End Trick ways to beat him in MGS3

@RaiNSniperNation I've played through all of MGS4 and the boss battles on their own are fine, but compared 1,2 & 3 they are in my opinion too easy, too predictable and very much a recycle of bosses earlier MGS-games. Have you've at all played any of the other games?
@ForeverFrengers oh yeah, I'll agree with you that the boss battles, particularily raging raven in mgs1, and 'the pain' in mgs3 were better than these, but I mean the octopus fight was awesome and unique and the one with crying wolf was pretty cool how you would have kind of a sniping battle through a blizzard like 300 yards apart. And then there were some times when you'd see a half a second flash of her running at you full speed then you'd have to quickly get off the ground and prepare yoursel
While fighting against Screaming Mantis I noticed that one part of the soundtrack is from first boss fight in Zelda Majora's Mask Odolwa, did anyone else noticed?

did anyone else have the problem where she doesnt die? i shook the doll but her energy went down to ALMOST zero. im told its supposed to jump to a cutscene but nothing happens.
i remember walking into this battle scene and thinking wait a minute ive seen this before.....people lying on the ground in agony while someone whispers run (O_O )

nothing in metal gear solid series will beat the mgs1 bosses. mgs1 bosses are better then the bosses in mgs4. i even think mgs 3 has better bosses as well.
@deathjoker666 totally agree. I think the MGS4-bosses were kind of a letdown. They had no personalities and weren't really a part of the plot...just Drebin phoning in their story once you've beat them. Snake said it best himself "Am I suppose to feel sorry for them / Am I suppose to give a shit about them?" The answer is NO, and that's a shame
I like how it turns out that Psycho Mantis was pretty much controlling all of the B&Bs the whole time. Because they said Screaming Mantis controlled the other B&Bs, and then we find out that Psycho Mantis was controlling Screaming Mantis.
@MannyKunV I liked it. It makes it less repetitive than if we just had to shoot her a bunch of times like in the other boss fights. It's a refreshing change of pace IMO. Plus it makes it kind of similar to the Psycho Mantis fight in the way that you have to defeat her in some weird way. It is annoying that she can take back the doll after you get it though even if you avoid her attacks completely she just gets the doll back after a bit which is retarded. She should get it back if she hits you.
