I think what b6022 was trying to tell you was to make a better video if amateur musicians can do that well. And he isnt an amateur now. He has a liget video for this song now. You should check it out some time if you havnt seen it yet. And in my opinion he has his own sound. He took the song "Im about to come alive" and made it his own and it is great!

I'm going by what I see here, and this video already has over 50,000 views just because UMG put it up. There are tons of us amateurs on YT that can take someone's song and make it thier own, just using thier own style whil they do the song. Guys like this should be head and shoulders above us, not at the same level.

I just watched it again, since it was 4 months ago since I made my original comment, and I can see the performance is really good. It's the video was amateur. There was both a video producer and a video directer and THIS is what they came up with? Maybe they were just trying to make it look like just another amateur YT video like most of us make. I wonder how much they were paid to make this?

I agree with you there. They could have done a much better video according to deffinition. But it isnt a matter of being as talented as the other guy. Its a matter of getting discovered. He did what us other amateurs do correctly, and that is getting descoverd. I know some guitar players that are better than Eric Clapton that have never even been discoverd. Mainly because they dont want to be. Or dont know how.
