The flu shot is controversial and potentially dangerous and I don't want one.

If I get the flu, I get the flu. If I die, the planet is already way overpopulated, so really, I'd be doing everyone a favour.

We just have to put it all into perspective.

@monroe444 Okay while I see your point and i'm inclined to agree with you (I detest flu shots as well) getting a flu shot isn't actually just for your own health. it's for the health of others as well. By not getting the flu shot and, therefore, becoming a potential carrier for the flu, you then expose everyone else you know, meet or sit next too on the bus to getting the flu as well. Some people are allergic to flu shots and their best defence is if the rest of us get it. Just saying.

People no longer think for themselves. The general consensus is that politicians lie - yet everyone is believing them now! Just for information - FEWER PEOPLE HAVE DIED FROM THE FLU (h1n1 and regular combined) than they did this time last year. The only difference is that the media is publicizing every single death. This is just like Toronto's "year of the gun". When in fact our murder rate was DOWN. I wish people would take their head out of their a**es and start using them.
