I've been stuck on this part forever. But I found that the Lightning Spell does indeed work on the spiders. I have the xbox360 version and I killed them in one hit, it must work for other versions as well. Thanks for this video Draziell!!

In the video i'm using LIGHTNING, but Ray of Light and Fireball works too (in PC, at least)

I am stuck in this part. I cannot kill to the spiders with magic. Neither appear the lizards that are seen in the video (why?). I have tried to kill to the spiders with all the spells and cannot. I play in PS3.

If you don't have the Lightning Range, just use Ray of Light..... (y)

In The Great Gates? freeze them with Ice Flower and keep them frozen, then use Ray of Light in the boss (The Dark)...

Which spiders? the spiders of Stone Alley? If is, its easy, i just ran and jump, and after i use Lightning Range (the best skill in my opinion)... I can post another video if you want...
