  • Sweet idea....til mom and dad come home LOL

  • those were sweet flips dude

  • i have traxxas revo 3.3 :P

  • nice! genius idea, soft landing :)

  • omg!! GREAT idea!! with a covered pool!! gonna go try that out!

  • Nice work using the chair as a ramp and the pool cover as a pad. Very ingenious.

  • thats awesome nice backflips for a first timer!

  • good idea with using the pool cover for a landin pad

  • lol genius chairs for jumps!! i couldnt stop laughting

  • revo or tmaxx better?

  • well it depends on your likeing

i like the tmaxx cuz it just looks cooler and it is a little big more durable but thats just me

  • that all kinda depends on what size da engines are and your driving style in my opinion i like da t maxx better

  • and tmaxx is cheaper

  • and gay.

  • hee,hee.....

  • When it comes to speed and durability whats better --- a truggy or a buggy??? plz answer

  • In my opinion i would say that a truggy is a little more durable, but other people could probably argue against that

  • 36,200

    hee hee...

  • how did you make it so the lawn chars dont knock over... the revo is about 10lbs w/out fuel

  • thats a damn good idea with the chairs and pool cover i got my revo a couple weeks ago but for some reason when i full throttle it like screams and hardly moves so i think its my spur gear that just got worn down so im gunna replace it and see if that works

  • all you have to do is tighten one screw

  • nice to use the lawn chairs as ramps

  • whats the song?

  • Don't Stay by Linkin Park - it says at the end of the vid btw :P

  • ya i saw that after i poseted haha lol

  • ur probably the smartest person ever, using the pool cover as a landing, brilliant.

  • yeah thats freaking awesome absolutely no damage to either the truck or the poolcover

  • i liek that landing. Smart. Must be hard to break stuff on a soft landing eh?

  • and yes... I am Canadian. And no, i dont drink Molson LOL

  • YA CANADA!!!!

Molsons crap from what I hear (I'm 12 so I've never had it.)

  • i want a sweet stunt spot like that. that was genious using the pool cover like that. i bet you break parts way lees often like that

  • hey.. that was cooool. i also have traxxas revo :P

  • nice flips love the cover pool part.

  • haha nice, i have a revo 3.3 and after 5 gallons of gas blew my motor,

but nice set up with the pool cover cause if ya screw up almost no damage

  • i got one of thoes things for my pool to

and im prob gonna get the revo for my first truck

  • how do you do backflips?

is it the ramp you use?

  • Backflips do not require a specific type of ramp. I explained this about 7 pages ago, here's the trick.

As long as the ramp gets you about 2 feet off the ground, you can do a backflip with a revo 3.3 (and many other RC vehicles). As soon as the truck hits the ramp, I go full throttle. The inertia created by the tire acceleration causes the chassis of the truck to rotate. After the truck has completed a flip (or 2), slam on the brakes (if you have them) to stop the rotation.

  • ok, thanks man!

  • now how do you mannage to get your truck if it lands on its roof. haha nice vid tho ive always wnated to try backfliping but... ha

  • I had my little brother use the pool skimming pole to fish it off the cover. It only happened a couple times though. The worst was one of my last attempts when the truck landed on the concrete off to the right of the pool from about 10 feet in the air. Yeah, that's when the part broke. I realized it about 3 jumps later because the truck didn't want to drive straight anymore. Broke the plastic piece that connects the axle to the right-rear wheel (3 wheel drive baby!)

  • what, switch bs salad el toro?!?!?!?!

  • is there a pool under that mate

    Sick flips lad

  • you pray

  • die

  • whoa dude, thats a sick idea for a ramp and landing pad, never thought to do that .... sweet!! why don't you go for a "dubbel" front flip?!?

  • lol matt... that's all i can say

  • is that ur pool ur landing on?

  • yes

  • that was sweet did you bust parts

  • yes

  • lol sweet im getting a t maxx this x-mass might try that

  • grats

  • I never thought of using a lounge chair as a ramp.

For your next trick go for a front flip! Just slam the breaks as soon as you leave the end of the ramp. I bet you could get a double front off a kicker like that.

  • front flips are tough with a heavy truck, the brakes weren't stopping the tires fast enough to rotate it completely around.

  • I do front flips with my revo all the time. You just need to adjust your brakes better is all. You could get your revo to roll over forward just by hitting your brakes on the ground.

    It can be done.

  • What he said.

I'm sure it can be done, I just didn't have time to fiddle with them b/c I was too busy enjoying the backflips!

  • not that hard i got a savage 8.0 it ownz !!!!

  • calm down, lawl

  • nice dubbel backflip :D

  • that would suck if the pool cover just collapsed .. nice video

  • make a longer one

  • dude i got a revo 3.3 like last year dude it is so sick

  • nice man awsome duoble dude what u laandin on

im gettin a revo 4 xmas cant wait

  • omg so am i!!!! i can not wait!!!!!!

  • im gettin a rustler

  • darn it i want a revo 3.3 so badly!

  • smart!!!

  • jumping onto the pool!! not a bad idea man! I might have to do that next time i get something that i can fuck up lol! But i cant do it with my revo now, cause i just put a bunch of shit into it! And im nt fucking it up! lol

  • i wud have so badly laughed if the cover ova the swimming pool ripped or came undone n the cars sank. :P wud of been cool. nice flips tho XD

  • awesome i am gonna try that with mine watch my vids they are pretty kool

  • good idea for the landing pad!!!and ramps!!!

  • good idea using pool chairs as jumps!

  • nice vid!!!! i got a new revo 3.3 today!

  • Thats cool! And all this crap about HPI vs. Traxxas is nonsense! Quit being a bunch of fanboys and enjoy what you got!!!

  • AMEN MAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • very smart landing site! less impact on a pool cover saves a lotta money in repairs i'm sure! oh and sweet vid!

  • probly the best traxxas video on youtube

nice job dude....i think im going to buy a revo...but right now im just going to stick with my tmaxx 2.5...i love it

  • nice vid and savage doesn`t own traxxas does

  • revo's are cool, but savage owns, =D

  • very smart, doen that over a pool, i never thought of it, i think ill try it tomarrow, thanks for the idea lol =D. you should have went of the slide, but put a jump at the end.

  • worddd I loved my revo but I broke it way too many times, it was in the shop more then it was on the road expensive little toys but you gotta push them to the limits ya dig!

  • you know it, still need to fix the rear shock i busted last time i drove it about a month ago... just been super busy ;)

  • very very nice vid i want to do this

  • verry nice man! 5 star

  • that would suck if the pool cover brok lol cool vid i wish i coulld do that

  • My parents would kill me if i did that to their pool cover. Not to mention that would suck if it ripped and ploop no more t-maxx.

  • i have a revo 3.3 and i cant do a backflip i cant switch it into reverse fast enough. so can you tell me how you do a backflip.

  • First of all, to do a backflip, you don't need reverse. All you do is mash on the gas during the jump and continue the gas after you're flying, then when it's all the way around, tap forward on the brakes to stop the rotation. To do a frontflip, mash on the brakes just after lift-off (this is much more difficult with this truck).

  • I recently did a double backflip off a bike ramp in the grass, grazed the front bumper on the grass but made it. Shortly thereafter, I went for a high speed jump and broke the rear left shock... Hoping to fix that soon.

  • man i wish i had a place like that....

  • how much do they usually cost for a decent one

  • £200 + if your going good and then you can always upgrade it

  • hahaha flippin off chairs... nice ;D

  • a revo 3.3 costs about $475 plus all equipment

  • Yep, you're looking at about $500 for the truck and a gallon of fuel. Revo 3.3 came fully assembled and I bought a nitro starter kit for nitro noobs but probably could have done without it because it comes with the majority of the stuff you need. Just remember to go through the break-in procedure as outlined in the manual to make sure your engine has a good long and powerful life.

    Hope that helps

  • is that canadian or us price?

  • o ya sick video

  • man how much does a revo 3.3 cost?

let me know i have been trying to find out how much but no luck sofar.

  • it costs about $480.oo with the batteries and fuel and stuff.

  • dude you should try waterskipping those things lmao

  • awsoume absoloutly wicked loved the doubble flip 5 stars :}

  • yea zak you coulda done a double, to bad you can't achieve your dreams and goals, oh wait, whats this, you did, well good job, it was truly spectacular

  • DUDE DOUBLE BACKFLIP WAS fricking awesome!!

  • Yep, I was loving it :P Wish they would leave the cover on the pool over the summer for my jumps! But then again, swimming is pretty fun... maybe I'll have to put some pontoons on my revo and try it in the pool!! (just kidding)

  • This is a great idea for practicing jumps :D

  • yeah, i dont know how many time i have held my breath after a crappy jump waiting to see what i smashed

  • Thanks Sapperion

  • I have put 2 gallons through my firestorm and have not had to replace the glowplug yet. It really depends on how you run your truck, if it is really lean and too warm for that plug they will burn out faster, if you run it rich and it is colder outside it might last longer. Just make sure you get the right plug for the temp outside, and tune your engine everytime

  • nice vid

    thanks 4 sharing

  • Thanks for the post. Looking forward to your videos!

  • sweet video. i rated you 5 stars. subscribe to me ill have some cool rc videos soon.

  • Question for the community: How often do you guys/girls replace your glow plug?

  • Also, was only a $4 repair bill, plus the time to install (which I still haven't gotten to, due to time constraints with school).

  • Thanks, the broken part actually happened when I hit the cement sidewalk while landing... still ran fine, didn't know it was broken untill i saw only 3 wheels spinning.

  • nice idea for a landing area... nice and soft landings. Cool idea for a ramp too, I personally built one from wood though.
