whats the cheapest you can get it at? do you know? i see them range from 1,500 - 2,500+ but ive been told there are places that sell them cheaper

I doubt it that it would recognize all 4gb.
I have a desktop with Vista Ultimate right now.
The computer it say 3545MB and the other 400MB something are for shadowing/something else in reserve.

3.5 is the highest you can go with 32bit. the other 500ish mb's are required for system operation.

Oh I didn't know that, but I think you're right... well at least 3 gig is better than 2.

Hi,thanks for the answer...! i've read that the 64bit version of windows vista doesn't support the ink ability of tablet pc because it is not a "tablet pc edition"! :-(

It recognizes just over 3GB. I plan to upgrade to Vista Ultimate which is 64bit, so he whole 4GB (I believe) will be recognized.
