I grew up off of the Beatles, so I'm VERY picky when it comes to anyone touching their music... Great job, Sadie! She did such a great job... I think everyone did in this movie. It really helped sell the story line.

Of course, I never expect the purist "Beatles" fans to ever be satisfied...so it's understandable. BUT for a song that is admittedly written as a challenge...I don't think guys ever meant for this to be a "meaningful" song. That being said, Dana vocally kicks the living hell out of this song w/a fierceness! I believe even Paul McCartney gave his praise & blessing on this song...so what better validation do you really need?

I won't say that she did better than Paul. They both have different voices, with hers being more raspy and Paul's being... well, not as much. They both have good renditions of the song; this one is simply modernized.

I think my favorite'll always be the original, but this one is still great.

I understand, yet I *refuse* to feel bad listening to this song because of the Tate/LaBianca murders.
