You Idiots. This guy can't talk. This is amazing that he is able to share his thoughts. He is looking at individual letters to speak to you, making words and that is what you are hearing!
What do you mean obviously? Serotonin has nothing to do with the reward pathway. Tetrahydrocannabinol binds to CB1 and CB2 receptors, and also activates some μ1 Opioid pathways, which releases Dopamine.
Another constituent of the plant, Cannabidiol, which is an indirect antagonist of THC, is also an agonist of the 5-HT1A receptor, so it has partial serotonergic effects.
Wait how can cannabidiol antagonize THC? Do you mean it is a competitive agonist to cannabinoid receptors? I'm probably missing something. Do you know if 5-HT1A agonism increases glutamate activity in the cerebral cortex? I know 5-HT2 receptor agonism via indole psychedelics does, but I am not aware of similar properties of 5HT1A, but it would make sense seeing as THC inhibits cerebral interneurons allowing pyramidal neurons to fire.
CBD does not bind to CB1 or CB2 receptors like THC does, but instead binds to a relatively unknown cannabinoid receptor GPR55 where it is an antagonist, as opposed to THC's partial agonism of the main CB receptors. 5-HT1A agonism has shown to inhibit glutamate and acetylcholine release in the cerebral cortex and hippocampus.
Lol, is this voice recorded from google translate ???

Informative, but a bit hard to understand at times. I like how he labors over "serotonin" - hillarious.

What's more important? Dopamine or serotonin? Also, does using cannabis effect, increase, or lower serotonin?
