it isn't so much about bashing math rock or free form jazz/fusion. though i completely respect and encourage mukai's freedom to dwell more into experimental rock, there is a slight somber feeling in the thought number girl is dead. those transitioning from number girl are more likely to enjoy bloodthirsty butchers over zazen boys. i perfer the former, but respect the latter in freedom of expression. to each his own.
