@Dizzles i ve seen some mk2s turned to 4x4 which is ok an insane & rare project but to me theres no purpose.the fun is to have 1 as it "used to be back then..." no try and get the latest technology into it now...no need for 4x4 or sequential gearbox on an 1980 mk2.there shit loads of that around.evo or an imprezza they are also fun...but u are on a different era.(that not bad either)

so the effort of turning a fwd to rwd i say isnt worth save money & go out and buy one on ebaymotors.co.uk :) :P

@aft3rgl0w i hear ya. theres this one article i read in eurotuner or i think that was the name. guy got an escort cosworth from canada cause this guy up there builds cars and started as a shell and since rally factory closed in the UK they had these shells up at auction and this dude build him one it was sick it wasnt an mk2 but damn anything from europe is really something to feast ur eyes on. theres on guy around here who has an MK2 and its gorgeous.
