Excellent video! Thought I'd put my tip of the day in here...For this type of cut, you could try a simple 4.5 inch grinder with a tuff cut blade. A cheaper alternative to a jamb saw.
The grinder will last so much longer, the tuff cut blades are brilliant and slice through the wood like butter :) I'll put the link for a tuff cut blade on my channel if anybody's interested. PDSVIDEO1966 was spot on, very well presented video :)
Funny you should mention that because that tool has only had a bit of use and broke during this bathroom refit. Not a good advert for the reliability of Bosch tools! If I was a tradesman I'd get a Multimaster for sure ;-)
one good thing to do is cut it about 3 mm extra and fill the 3mm gap between the wood and the tile with silicone so the wood doesn't suck up any water if it gets exposed to it
It's only a slight step, but I'll get a piece of wood and plane it so that it is a ramp shape, then I'll run the carpet up the ramp and fix it where it meets the tiles. When I am doing this I'll make a video ;-)
Nice to see some good steady quality video and good sound quality to go with it wish more could be like this .Good tips by the way and have also subscribed to your channel.Keep up the good work.

Great video UHM although that Bosch doesn't sound nearly as powerful as the multimaster.
If you turned the blade up the other way it makes it much easier to get the tool level when you're cutting down low ;)
