all in all it took about half a year of development time (full time). If you like, you can read a little more details about it at our webpage (monkeysinspacesuitsDOTcom).
The main workload was done by three people and some more guys helping out with textures, music and sounds.
Shit, you dicks. Why do you have to go and show off your big company awesomeness in a little company community? Stealing all the sales and whatnot >_>
Guess we will just have to do better. Our games may not be 3D but they do look better! -_^
...What? hahaha, oh I'm sorry I wasn't trying to be mean I was just joking with you guys. Notice I said "show off your big company awesomeness" I probably should have put that in quotes and added a :P at the end of my post. You will have to forgive me, my sense of humor is a little crude. If you will read my other posts on your other trailers you can see that I am astonished by your game quality. I cant even count how many times I watched your trailers saying "damn".
@MonkeysInSpaceSuits I meant to calling you names on a playful teasing note but I guess my intent to get you to play along just went over your head. Forget about the other comments then. :)
Anyway, I would love to show you some of our work but I don't have many up to date screen shots online. >_>
Megalopolis is available on the Xbox LIVE Marketplace. It can be downloaded directly from your Xbox 360 Dashboard or add Megalopolis to your download queue.
well ten years equals ten minutes in our game. The idea is to make a city building game "on speed" suited for the more action oriented console player. The game tries to make this complex environmental theme easily accessible without lecturing the player.
why only ten years? also, i saw your thing about offsetting co2, you should have an emissions trading scheme built in to the game and position it as some hippy environmentally friendly game, youd get some extra publicity out of it like that i would imagine
This seems like an ignorant question but...
how long did this take?
(Amazing looking game thou)

What exactly did we do to you, vulkein, to be called names?
We are a very small Indie developer team and we worked extremely hard for this game.
Next time I suggest you visit our website and inform yourself before posting negatively here about the "big bad companies".
BTW: We really would like to see your stunning artworks... just to prove your claim.

Ok. We were just a little confused about your comment and didn't quite know were to put it. :) No harm done.
