great experiment iwth the sound! The first part where you can hear the rumble of the bike... I did not like that... then the second half where you mounted it on your belt... there was no sound on the bike. Almost thinking a happy medium should be there. It was almost too quiet on the second half but probably better audio overall. Thanks for the demonstration!
Yes, I need to get all the sounds well modulated: ambient, bike, and voice. I may need to use multiple recorders unless I can find the ideal mounting and setting. At least we're on the right track.
Yeah. I had to leave that comment it. I edited out about 20-minutes of other verbiage. Hopefully, I'll be doing some guided tour videos in the near future.
So happy to see more bike video. I love the uphill section 3.5% grade. It makes me feel better about the common persistent 6-12% grade hills in the greater Seattle area.
Thanks. I'd have a heart attack in Seattle. On Saturday and Wednesday I did some hang gliding with two guys down from Seattle and we had a blast. It was raining up there and sunny down here. Not to rub it in, but it's no secret.
what camera are you using?

Canon SD870 IS. It's no longer in production.
The new, PowerShot SD960 IS has the same wide angle and better features.

"Let's see if I can avoid being run over by the trash truck." LOL. Good idea! The sound in the vid is very good.

Thanks. I won't be racing anytime soon, but it's time to just get back out there and cruise. I hope to be doing more narrated rides before long.
