  • This is where Jack Bruce bought two shortscale Dan Electros ("longhorn ")basses that were used to record most of Disraeli Gears and live performances with before switching to the Gibson EB3.

  • A friend of mine got Brian Jones's traded in Gibson in 1962 because he was in there at the right time. True story.

  • He gave the Vagrants ....a charge account ..... oh man ;-)

  • This video should have 10 million views. Rock n Roll history goin on in that room.

Manny's forever. Oh and West is crazy! ;)

  • @depper that finger picker john sebastian can get more out of one chord than any other musician barre none [mannys was alwas the first tourist attraction you go to in new york then you go to the statue of liberty and the un ] .

  • @spacepatrolman I agree with you about Manny's but Leslie West is the one known for guitar tone. Acoustic or electric. They don't call him the King Of Tone for nothing ya know! ;) That being said, all these musicians are great. Im a fan of Sabastian.

  • @depper I heard mountain at woodstock ,the stanley warner theater and the fillmore east the sound was coming through the wall while we were waiting on line for the next show .

  • @spacepatrolman In the late 60's, when Leslie was on guitar, even Neil Armstrong on the MOON heard Leslie play!! :)

  • @depper I bought an oscar schmidt autoharp at mannys like john sebastian plays and a mosrite fuzz tone like the yardbirds used on heart full of soul

  • WOW

    AMAZING

  • Sandi, this is so warm--catching the moment the way Albert Maysles does. I think you should put 60 to 80 minutes of your best Schlockumentaries for your first full-length Schlockumentaries Galore. I know some I'd like to see together--Jud

  • Sandi,

Your really tapped into something with this. Great idea!

  • "I need 6 Strats for Eric Clapman" --> CLASSIC!!

  • Oh my God. Yes, this is DEFINITELY music history.

What an absolute joy. I would buy a 2 hour DVD of these music legends and pay handsomely.

What a backdrop. What class. This is great.

  • Truly a piece music history. Bravo and thank you for keeping this iconic music sanctuary alive. Every famous and not so famous musician will love these videos
