He states: "Eventually, because of a number of her unethical practices I decided that I could not recommend her for any subsequent position of public or private trust."
The gas tax moratorium passed in 2000 with Barack Obama's help lowered gas prices and saved Illinois drivers hundreds of millions of dollars. Many Democrats opposed making it permanant not because it didn't save drivers money, but because it was reducing the state's tax receipts - the Illinois plan was not balanced by new tax revenue. Hillary's plan is fully funded and revenue neutral. It will not take revenue from the Highway Trust Fund or other projects. Obama's just wrong on this one.
The Clinton camp is using Obama as an escape route. The question is - who else apart from Clinton is right about this?
Whether it was her health care fiasco in 1993 or the recent gas tax argument, Clinton's am-always-right attitude, unwillingness to listen to the experts and tendency to try to destroy those who disagree with her makes her a terrible leader and potentially the worst president this country would ever have. Thankfuly, she'll never be President.
That the Clinton campaign can't find one independent expert who thinks this plan will work is telling. Obama said he learned from his vote in 2000 that these things don't work. What's wrong with that? I want a president who can learn and improve.
Pandering is right!
Zeifman was Hillary's boss when she was 27.
He states: "Eventually, because of a number of her unethical practices I decided that I could not recommend her for any subsequent position of public or private trust."
He was lead Democratic counsel during Watergate.
Hahahahaha-- Hillary, unethical?
Some things never change!

"Hillary's plan is fully funded and revenue neutral. It will not take revenue from the Highway Trust Fund or other projects."
Then why can't she get experts to testify for her? Why can't McCain?
This "Gas tax holiday" will not pass and is nothing more than a political stunt.

This ad should be on the air.
If you need financial help to put this ad on the air, folks at Daily Kos and MoveOn can mobilize with $25 and $50 donations.
