I would check up with your local opel dealership they have all the software and hardware to check your car out.
The nasty thing here is that the machines to get a readout from your opel is so expensive that you only can go to an opel dealership to fix that problem...
the 1 man garage which is much cheaper can never ever buy such expensive equipment

the engine is running in safe mode its computer programmed
this can mean you have to reset the computer at the dealer
PROBABLY ITS A CAMSHAFT SENSOR problemo solved my friend
