some day it will be sold!

  • @thenameiwantwastaken

the show was on tv months after the concert and i taped it on video :)

  • awesome

  • Just clicked because 'ELO Live 1986' sounded wrong (too late) and now I see I was there! Great performance - and nice and loud, filling the NEC. They were followed by The Moody Blues who headlined - and I remember thinkin I wouldn't have arranged things that way! Maybe organiser Bev being gracious. BUT when it was on telly a few days later (and it might have just been selected tracks; cant remember) the TV people had switched them round, so ELO 'headlined'! Good call!

  • Whats the song playing in the intro under the credits?

  • @Queenfan778 The song in the intro of this video is the end of "Standing in the Rain" just before the start of the next song "Big Wheels" on the album "Out of the Blue", 1978... ELO (actually Jeff Lynne)'s masterpiece!!!!

  • Jeff is without question one of THE most outstanding songwriters of all time. It is hard to believe one man alone could create so many utterly amazing compositions. If anyone has been able to channel the gods for us all, it is Jeff Lynne. Thank you, Jeff, you are truly a musical genius.

  • EXCELLENT song 4ever!!!!10/10*

  • wow!!!!!!

  • Excellent!

  • Got this concert on a very old and battered VHS tape. But it only has the 'highlights'. Do you know if a full version of ELO's set is in existence? Thanks for posting the track. How good does Jeff sound live?

  • Thanks for sharing ! By the way Jeff Lynne is one of the super stars who never made a Christmas song. Or should I say : A Christmas ELO album. I think It would have been fantastic knowing the imagination of ELO music. The perfect timing for releasing it would have been November in 1978.

  • @FinnMove: Jeff has co-written a christmas song together with Tom Petty in the early 90's. "Christmas All Over Again" it's featured on the 3rd cd (Good Booty) of the "Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers - Playback" box-set (MCA/1995).
