It's a special effect in adobe after effects where you can over lap the same video on it self so like we can have take a video of a guy standing somewhere then take a video of him standing a couple of feet away and then overlap them with masking.

It's a technique called masking which allowed me to overlay multiple copyies of the same clip over and over again to creat the effect of hundreds rather than 20 / 30

The voice actor for the two is trying so hard to make them different, but fails miserably doing so with the weird loose accent of that other dude (forgot the name).:( If the voice acting is fixed and the weird long pauses are cut out, then this'll be a great series.

Great video, just two pointers, change tylers voice and make carter a little louder. The sniper shot should have been made louder. Other than this, I think it's a great video

Plotline was pretty generic; bunch of soldiers crash land without any hope of rescue.

Voice acting was average; I've heard better, I've heard worse.

The cinematography is good though, and it definetly has potential if you can improve the voice acting. The effects in the beginning with the Pelican were great also.

Verdict:Voice acting is total crap, no diff. between the two chars.

Story looks promising, keeps you interested.

There's tons of long pauses, and that bores me. Characters hardly have anything diff., hard to tell them apart.

I liked but two things you might think on

1) it was good voice acting but it's nothing that really grabs me, you need to put a little more emotion into it and it will work fine

2) I know it's the first episode but throw in a plot twist at the start and people will get hooked, even if the twist is solved in the next episode.

over all 3/5 and keeping an eye out for the next one.

on the whole, it was good. Unfortunantly, it just got a tad too predictable. like for example when he woke up from the crash, he said what the fuck hit us? very often the phrase is used. a little more originality would be good for your lines. The story is good. i would also like to see maybe a flashback since he called hutch rookie, to maybe before they got sent to the library. (the plot is solid btw)

You are going in a great direction with the storyline. The only thing i might add would be a small comic relief scene at the end of the credits to encourage people to maybe read through the credits. But don't make the sketches very long because then that would encourage people just to skip to the end after the last scene, and that might just defeat the purpose of showing the credits. just like a small blooper reel or something. but overall you are doing a good job so far. -FITZ

Read Halo: Cole Protocol. It will give you insight into what the Sanghelli refer to each-other as. Use a sound program to lower the elite voices. They aren't garbled enough. The only Elites that sound that way are Arbiter and Rtas 'Vadumee. (halfjaw) And Arbiter is voiced by Keith David. The two "ee's" at the end of the name mean leadership. I liked the entire thing except for how the Elites were. They are thorough killing machines.  Depict them how they are in the fiction for best results. G-J!

I don't think this is as bad as some people make it out to be. I'd say you're off to a good start, but could definitely use any constructive criticism.

You might want to reconsider where you're trying to go with Tyler's voice. I also suggest trying to avoid any abrupt sequences in cinematography that seem misplaced; these lead to choppy acting without any real benefit. Some ambient noise is missing, raise the volume of the voices, and try to make the voices sound appropriate to helmet/distance.
