I Didnt want to be induced but i do not advance on my own, and i would rather induction than emergency c- section. on my induction i lasted 32 hours with minimal pain meds, and HUBBY Begged for me to do an epideral, if i had refused they were talking c- section (unbeknowns to me!) .
here here, having a baby is the most natural thing in the world.. I was reading yesterday that part of what starts labour are the hormones that the baby produces when its lungs are fully ready for breathing.. why would be want to take baby out until they are ABSOLUTELY ready.. doesn't make sense to me either.. Of course, if there isn't a problem, the baby and your body will do what it has to do.. I do admit though, the waiting can be tough!! My little one is still happy inside!!
You were in my thoughts yesterday... hadn't seen any videos in a few days and was wondering what was happening. I am sorry that you are getting so anxious. Hope that it goes quick!
Aw I feel for you! I'm 38+2 weeks and I feel like I can't wait anymore but its my first so will probably be overdue. I'm having my baby at a birth centre in England with no option of epidural. Your videos are so inspiring, can't wait to see your baby. Be well xxxx
your right about the contractions being alot stronger and more painful with being induced! i got the epidural and it didnt work because the pitocin was making my body be in soooo much pain. and my son was stressed from the shock of it all happening soo quickly. and then they let him come out wrong, he is 2 this month and still has speech problems. we think he suffered brain damage or something from the way they did my labor. i dont reccomend it for anyone. but that was just my experience.
i totally agree with you, i was induced at 41 weeks 3days, at 50% of the contraction it was unbearable and it went another 50% b4 it dropped off, my daughter got stuck and i had an emergency c-section after being in labor for 19 hrs all up and 3 hours pushing a stuck head with no drugs. i say stuck to what u want don't get induced u should should have the choice if ur baby is perfectly healthy u should beable to continue. good luck with the rest of your pregnancy
O wow girl, I thought for sure you had your baby! Well hopfully you won't have to wait as long as I did with my 2 babies. Keep your chin up, it will be shortly. Can't stay pregnant forever....lol
I agree with you, why induce
This is a perfect and natural process God has planned and women have been dooing it for THOUSANDS of years.
Im 39 weeks, and ready to have this Baby, but I would go to 42 weeks if it means having a natural birth. Better for Baby and Mama.
