The thing that makes the murder of Alexandros Grigoropoulos even more tragic, unfair and reason enough for revolution (not the stupid things that happened but a real revolution) than the death of a policeman is that Alexis was MURDERED by someone who is supposed to PROTECT the civilians... but as I pointed out in my former comment, it doesn't make aspects of the ideologies completely wrong, but as a whole, as an absolute they are wrong. You'll find communists who hate Social Democracy calling them darn Capitalists!, and you'll find Capitalists(Usually Republican Americans:P) who will call anything which includes Socialism for Communist, Commies, while forgeting that e.g their own police force is "socialism.

After tha main protests in greece the main concern of the Mayor was to replace the xmas tree in the city centre. In greece it is common when you mourn and when you are sad not to decorate a xmas tree, but for the mayor there was no reason to mourn no reason to cry. Note aswell that few months later he decided to cut down some of the few threes in the city centre to make a new parking in order to increase the income. I don't know the exact circumstance, I wasn't there, and I can't be sure who's story is true, but I know that no kid deserves to be shot like that.
He acted as a catalyst for something huge, but thats no condolence for him or his family.
