  • @Iliketosayfuckalot - I got a FB friend whose 7yr of son was threatened by another with a knife at school. So..sharing this video with her. Hope she likes this and understands.the "knock them the fuck out" bit (and rest of it too)

  • Im in Aikido! Aikido of Denton ftw.

  • Yes! Just fucking YES! I wish someone had sat me down and got me watch this when I was like 13-14. I remember first hearing about the whole "It gets better" thing and thinking "Does it bollocks!" Sadly it took me up until the age of 19 to finally decide that "That which does not kill me only makes me stronger" so I really hope as many kids as possible see this video.

  • @kurtjarram Thanks, Kurt!

  • I totally agree with your video. I am sick and tired of these sesame street PSAs especially from non-gay celebrities. I understand that they think they are helping, but on the contrary they are quite condescending and treating you to embrace your victim mentality.

  • I love this, "SO TRUE" <3

  • @rayofsunshine210 Thank you, Sunshine. ;)

  • @Iliketosayfukalot Of course :)

  • This is a BEAUTIFUL video. I too was bullied and I agree with your view of this epidemic. Bullies are nothing but Assclowns with no life and a broken home with no guidance.

  • @BigDaddyChis Thanks, Big Daddy!

  • I want to have your baby....or at least give it one helluva try. Keep telling it like it is....xxx

  • @divaelaine HA! Awesome. ;)

  • I like this guy's approach! He knows what -really- goes on and what -really- needs to be done. Voice of Reason!

  • @Solvandus Thanks for that! ;)

  • We and our kids love this video. It's so true. That's what kids experience every single day in public schools. We agree to your message "Don't be a victim!"

  • @Brabra1970 Thank you, Brabra! Best to you and your family! ;)

  • ok i originally came on here to chew your ass out.

i support the it gets better project, for no other reason than it might give someone a little mood boost, and some times that all it takes to prevent another teen suicide.

    however

thank you for posting this. the shit you said NEEDED to be said

  • @drake3058 I was hoping we'd be friends. ;) Thanks, Drake!

  • @princ3platinum Wisdom.

  • i signed into my account just to say THIS VIDEO IS THE BEST! i was never bullied but i hate bullies. they suck!

  • @zeldamelt8 You rule. ;)

  • Very powerful Message, thanks 4 creating this video! ~ will Continue to SMILE --- as my amo!!

  • @SLSwriter Blinded by the awesome. ;)

  • Totally unrelated comment,

I dont know if you've ever seen Jekyll, the new tv series?

But you remind me of the main character - its the eerie, sexy, nonchalant, brutal even humorous image. I mean all that in a good way though :)

  • @devochkadee I'll have to check it out. ;)

  • I can't even think of a better vid for people to see.

    This is great.

I am gay, and I wish someone had talked to me like this when I was a kid.

  • @yvr36 Thanks, Tom. That means a lot to me, dude. :)

  • LOL, you look like Rocky Balboa <3

    Good video <3

  • @ChavaAyanna Yo, Adrian! ;) Thanks!

  • I REALLY love your posts!!

  • @dcdmarks Thank you!

  • You remind me of Colonel Graff from Ender's Game.

  • FYI bullying in the news again - tragic - father of boy who killed himself as a result of the pain of bullying - has killed himself. See Bullying Claims Another Victim... an Unexpected One by Marlo Thomas in the Huffingtonpost. Thank you for this video - it's a relief from those that push sunshine and rainbows.

  • Lmao you make my day I swear.

  • im not being bullyed but I really want to learn those fight moves...

  • As a person that's been bullied a good portion of my academic career, it's so refreshing to have someone realistically approach the very real situation. You're a complete stranger to me and you understood my situation better than my closest friends do. And for that, I thank you for existing. Keep spreading truth my friend. :)

  • @alisonnn83 Thanks, Alison. I'll try to exist as best as I can. ;) (And now we're friends.)

  • "and to all of the parents to all of the bullies in the world.. FUCK YOU."

    haha, you're awesome.

  • @h0ldmyweav3 I have my moments. ;)

  • I really liked most of this video, but a part of it had me concerned, and that was where you talked about the lack of morality in schools. What morals can be taught that aren't based on religion that wouldn't have either religious people up-in-arms or non-religious up-in arms?

Eh, this is a very popular, 3 month old video, I doubt I'll get a response...

  • @kizzume That's the problem: What morals CAN be taught without having people up in arms?

(And ye of little faith!) ;)

  • @Iliketosayfukalot Ok, so we agree on that. Cool :) Great video!

  • @Iliketosayfukalot Morals don't have to be backed by religion. I have morals, but I am a stout secular humanist. Morals were not instilled by god, they were developed(or not developed) by people. Sorry if I mistook your view on this, that part of the video seemed rushed to me and I'm in a really bad mood right now. Keep on with the good ass fucking(no pun intended) advice!

  • Well, I may not subscribe to all that was said, but there was a lot of truth in this video. I liked it and I think you give some good advice in here to kids who are victims. . Sometimes you are the only person who can stand up for yourself, but it's quite hard to do when it seems like everyone, including family, church and society, is against you.

  • HAHAHAHA Stop beating these kids over the head with rainbows and sunshine.

    thank youuuu

  • @GreysonChanceFanatic ;) You're welcome.

  • @Iliketosayfukalot OMG YOU RESPONDED NO WAY AAAAAAH SCREAM

  • @GreysonChanceFanatic Now just wait till you hear me sing "Paparazzi". ;)

  • This was really great! Thank you for putting out an honest yet hopeful and encouraging message out there!

  • @yasminevine4 Thank you! ;)

  • Do you know that people call OTHER people pussies, and they do it on your channel?

It happened on another video, but I can't remember the name.

That name-calling crap, to someone you've never freakin met, is bullying bullshit too.

  • @vickiormindyb What did I miss?

  • @Iliketosayfukalot Not much, really. Someone called me that name on another video of yours. Which I hate, because they're not even the video's creator, but there's nothing I can do about it either.

Once I realize that (over and over I have to) I'm usually okay.

    Today was a rough day.

    I'm a medic. I get abused for pay ; )

Then I get it for nothing by some You Tube hateful [bleep].

  • I couldn't have said it better myself, My 6 yr old daughter with Aspergers I only wish could understand this....

    Thanks!

  • @hollyberry997 You're welcome, Holly. ;)

  • @Iliketosayfukalot

I think I'll enroll my little girl in self defense classes and hope it occurs to her to use it when needed...she's brilliant but clueless how to react to otheres. Thanks again.

By the way, you look really hot dressed like a chick! LOL

(but WAY better as a man! ;0)

  • @hollyberry997 Thanks for noticing. ;)

  • @hollyberry997 She probably understands it. I have Asperger's, and, though I appear to be "out of it", I know what's going on most of the time. I just either don't know how or don't see the point to reacting to it.

  • @TMKristen Thank you. You can probably tell me more than I understand, she is 6, brilliant, musically gifted, and very beautiful (I'm biased) and because of her vocabulary and saying what's on her mind makes it hard for other children to relate to her. I would love to to slap the slobber out of the brats that are mean to her, but I can't. I hope at some point she can stand up for herself.

Thank you, I hope dealing with people gets easier as you get older?

  • @hollyberry997 My nephew has that, and I can barely recognize that there's even anything wrong with him...and I'M a paramedic.

That's how high-functioning most patients who have Asperger's are. But it figures a dang bully would find a way to turn that negative too.

    They're real downers, bullies are.

  • @vickiormindyb I don't envy your job, it's pretty thankless, that makes you a special person...

My daughter seems normal exept for an large vocabulary, and 2 grades ahead, chaos and change can send her spinning, and her inability to deal with some social situations. Bullies by nature I think pick on those they think weak..In the long run she will graduate and become better than any of them. Doing well will be her revenge as such...

  • @Iliketosayfuckalot you hit the nail on the head hard. I had sort of the reverse situation like Jamie had but in 1985..eas in high school then and this guy I had known since 3rd grade had been bullying me. One day he picked on me, I yelled at him, he sucker punched me and went home that day and shot himself in the head with his dad's pistol.

Kids think they have it bad now? No one then asked me how I felt about it and I turned out pretty OK.

  • "Oh, oh, violence doesn't solve anything!"

    Violence.

    Solves.

    -Everything-

    Best fucking line.

  • @MarkJohansen123 You're gonna like it here in The Pleasure Dome, Mark. ;)

  • @Iliketosayfukalot Fuck jobs. Fuck apple. Can't wait to quit this fucking job so I can start my fucking career. Fuck Jose that bitch can suck a fucking dick. Gee I like to say fuck alot (SPONSER! :3)

  • That rocked! The It Gets Better Campaign has always bugged me a bit. It's not realistic or proactive enough. This guy gives kids something to work with. I wish he was my big bro when I was a kid. =)

  • @eraserdxl You guys rule. ;)

  • You're my new Youtube hero.

  • @blueheidi Thanks, Heidi. I needed to hear that. ;)

  • @Iliketosayfukalot I hope you are someone's dad or at least a role model in some kids life.

  • @blueheidi That's what youtube is for. ;)

  • You said it perfectly.Love it.And if people don't like it fuck them..I swear a lot too!LOL

  • @doormatt2000 Thanks, Doormatt. I needed to hear that, too. ;)

  • EricJames Borges killed himself yesterday. Feh. "Teach yourself ju-jitsu?" Guess he never had to take on six at once. Just get a fucking gun.

  • @kevlax580 Thanks, man! ;)

  • bang on dude

  • this is absolutely incredible!!

  • @xMeAndMyBlackParadex Thanks for that. ;)

  • 20 people have a small penis....

  • @LoganCunningham2 That was fucking awesome.

  • dayummmmm this guy tells the truth

  • Omg I want to be just like you when I grow up. <3

  • @gimmeyocheesebro If I would only grow up... ;)

  • @Iliketosayfukalot When did steve jobs die? i thought it was recently, but this was uplaoded in october:O

  • @12shadowlink 10/5/11, dude.

  • @Iliketosayfukalot i'm way offxD

  • @12shadowlink October 5th.

  • Good, I wish this sort of message were circulated more....

  • if you can get rid of your bully with some martial arts and defending yourself you had some pussy ass bullies charles St. i was bullied literally my whole life. and ive even bullied some others. and when they pull out the martial arts. i pull out my baseball bat. im glad you have no grasp of the reality we live in as far as students go in america.

  • Second id like to note that Religion has no positive moral effect on humanity. in fact the opposite has been suggested. mammals bully. this occurs more with overpopulation and lack of nutrition. it is natures way of saying "we have too many. kill the weak or we all go" it is needed. And most bullys i know form High school went onto college. and most the ones that got bullied dropped out. again no grasp on reality if you think otherwise, all the jocks go on to college on mommy and daddy's money

  • You know what, I was bullied alot in school period. Having Asperger's is like having a target painted on your back. Now during school I found a way to get rid of bullies without lifting a finger. I brought an "Improvised Munitions" book to school everyday and read it. Funny you wouldn't think it would work due to the average intelligence of the bully but guess what, it worked. No energy expended.

  • f...ing brilliant!!! xoxxo :) xxoxo

  • @Aurarisma Thank you, Doll. ;)

  • @Iliketosayfukalot Outstanding! When I was a child no one gave me a trophy for being average. I had to bust my ass and be better than everyone else to get ahead and earn that little piece of paper saying how great I was. These days all kids in school get recognition or praised for being average. If they get praised for being average why would they want to be any better than average? Our society is teaching our children that lazy unimaginative behavior is acceptable and even rewarded.

  • My nephew plays the violin and he's never been bullied. That's b/c the bullies ALSO know that my nephew has a black belt in Tae kwon do, which he got when he was 10. His dad's an Instructor - and has a 3rd degree black belt.

So I'd say you're pretty damn right about that kind of violence: self-defense.

  • @vickiormindyb Nice. ;)

  • Funny, much of this has been stated by Dan Savage for years.

I have issue with your claim at 4:07-4:29 that taking religion out of schools is bad, that morale is created out of religion or that they don't teach morale if they don't teach creation as science&Jesus as lord. Who do you think does the bullying? With gays, it's OVERWHELMINGLY the fucking religious assholes(including their own parents)who spread vindictive, divisive fear&hate for those they are brainwashed into thinking belong in hell.

  • Damn 20k views? lets hope its a reverse bell curve

  • I appreciate this so much. As a gay kid I was never bullied, and that's exactly why: mental toughness and physical stamina.

  • @virginiaseymour94 Thanks for that. ;)

  • As a gay man who can barely stand half the 'It Gets Better' stuff, not to mention the horrific prisons that are state schools, I have to say that I LOVED this video.

So empower people! There's more strength in defending yourself than attacking another.

  • @autopolydidact Thank you for the compliment. And yeah, they're getting a bit Lord of The Flies-ish. ;)

  • As someone who is gay, my first thought was "How can a straight guy tell ME that it doesn't get better". THEN I watched your video. Thanks! You are correct on so many levels. As a kid I was bullied a lot. Not because I was gay, just because I was the new kid in town and other kids were so cruel. It lasted for many years. The ironic thing is that by my senior year I was voted "Friendliest" of my class. By the way, you sorta look like Rick Springfield. It's a good thing ;)

  • @SkaryMoviez Thanks for that, dude. Yeah, I seem to switch between Stallone, Springfield, Zappa and Paul Stanley. ;)

  • After watching about 10 of your videos, I'm having a hard time understanding how anyone even thought they COULD bully you.

I'd never think so, but I wouldn't bully someone anyway, b/c I was bullied every single day of every single year until I left school.

THEN I was bullied in college, which was a REAL trip.

  • @vickiormindyb Sucks being smaller growing up. ;)

  • Amen. On my YouTube page I also made a vid earlier this year saying similar things as you. In short, any bullying victim needs to learn mental and physical self-defense. Not so easy if the parents are bullies too. Regarding LGBT folks, they bully each other too and mental bullying happens a lot in adulthood. Each of us must learn self-love and to move around the jerks that come into our lives. Regarding religion in school, a lot of bullying and hate comes from religious folk though.

  • Part 2: My aunt told me she went to a summer camp where the girls were vicious to each other. And she turned 100 two years ago. And many of those who bullied were raised by caring parents. In my opinion, it is what happens when there is a flaw in the conscience... and it is not connected to learned activity.

  • @Minskgal Point taken. ;)

  • Comment removed

  • I tried to punch some little asshole in the face when i was like 9. Lucky for him he moved out the way or ida been wailin on some stupid little fuck

  • Part 1: This is a great video, however "bullying" is not something new. It is not happening because the teaching of morality was taken out of the schools. It is not happening because students lack a moral compass and think there will be no consequences for their behavior. The students who are perceived to be the weakest have always been picked on. I was "teased" incessantly, and I attended school in the 50s and early 60s. I am now 65.

  • This guy looks like Paul Stanley of Kiss!

  • @kaylarose823 part Paul Stanley and part hank azaria

  • Ok so you are a skinny, big dicked, intellectual, blackbelted, violent, fucker..who creates beauty in the world. LOL I can live with that.. Love it.

  • @Vetiwitch I think I'm stealing that for my bio. ;)

  • @Iliketosayfukalot haha... please do use in your bio. LOL :)

  • Not all bullies peak in high school. Some become middle-level managers, and then there are those like Donald Trump who bully their way to the top. Other than that, great rant!

  • This guy needs to be named Father of the Year. If he doesn't have kids, ladies, you need to get the line started now. This guy is entirely right. Same basic thing I plan on teaching my children when they're old enough. The correct response to a bully is sudden and overwhelming violence. Sure, you'll get suspended, but I'll buy you a video game to pass the time.

  • @Edymnion I'll buy you a video game to pass the time. Awesome. ;)

  • Thanks for your insightful video! I hope a future 'Steve Jobs' out there saw it and started googling some ways to physically defend himself....

  • @keenanawake You and me both. ;)

  • Wow, someone NOT trying to blow smoke up you ass! Follow the video's advice and it will get better. Or get rich and pay people to beat up your bullies for ya ;-)

  • @altradude LOL!

  • i love your eyebrows <3

  • You may want to google the "Make It Better Project"...

"GSA Network launched the Make It Better Project to let students, parents, teachers, school administrators, and adult allies know that there are concrete actions they can take right now to make schools safer for all students."

  • Only needed one video to subscribe to you. Great video, I will hope to see your older videos later.

Keep those great videos coming. Peace!

  • Awesome video, man. In regards to bullies, I was taught at a very early age to defend myself. I once had a bully that was taking my lunch money everyday. I came home in tears and told my father what was happening. He said "If you don't go to that school tomorrow and kick this bullies ass...I"m gonna kick YOURS." Unfortunately for the bully, I was more scared of my fathers wrath than I was of him...so the bully got his ass kicked...lol. That ended my bully problems for good...lol

  • Wow someone who is tellin the truth..

  • Its a little different with girls. I found out my rich female abuser is an actress in NY and a philanthropist. I can only hope it is out of a sense of guilt and that her entire acting career is really only supported by her parent's money.

  • @Aceiatx Or that she fucked her way to the top. ;)

  • I was bullied as a kid as well, and I agree with EVERYTHING YOU SAY

  • @krwdserfur Thanks, man! ;)

  • "Violence has resolved more conflicts than anything else. The contrary opinion that violence doesn't solve anything is merely wishful thinking at its worst." - Starship Troopers

    You rule!

  • @SnakeOilPictures Awesome...just awesome!

  • I got rid of bullies using my brains and had not gotten into a single fight in high school. It taught me how to spot somebody's weakness if personality and hit them where it hurts. It also taught me how to bond with the meanest kids in the matter minutes. I learned how to be charismatic and funny. These things helped a lot in my life.

  • If u wanna get real down and dirty, google Krav Maga. Deadlist martial art ever

  • @UncleRed1234567 There are reasons why he recommended Aikido. One of them is that the main point of it is to defend yourself WITHOUT killing anyone. Better choice, since that way, you protect yourself from LIABILITY as well as injury.

  • I HAVE THOSE EXACT CUPBOARDS AT MY HOUSE!!!1

  • Google it.

  • I posit that the problem is teaching kids religion instead of morality. Or, failing even that, not teaching them anything at all.

  • @missmollygrue Truth.

  • Violence solves everything...haha. You are SO right on the money. The school systems policies actually protect bullies. Zero tolerance for fighting means the good kid who is being picked on doesn't have the ability to defend himself or sock a verbal bully in the nose... The Christmas Story is a perfect example. That kid would have gone to juvie and been prosecuted today.

  • @DrewDanube And had to attend sensitivity training. ;)

  • Best video on the topic, on youtube. Thanks for putting this out there. Peace.

  • Thank you! It's about time someone told these kids to defend themselves.....

  • surprisingly inspiring!

  • @josecarreon72 ;) Thanks!

  • A friend of mine posted a link to this on Facebook. So, I thought I would check it out. YOU ARE SO RIGHT!!! It's not gonna get better if you just sit there............You Have To Take Control!!

  • @AudredDax I like your angles. ;)

  • I got beat up everyday of my life ofr being skinny...

Until I discover the act of defensive violence. It works because it's legal. I say beat down the bad man. Terrorists don't get away with it either, so fight back.

  • @activemode Word. ;)

  • the ending song is by crybtobiotic, right?

  • @DevilBoy1870 I dunno....came with iMovie. ;)

  • What Religion equals morality? I was with you up to that point. Most bullies are raised by church going folk.

  • @DouglasF23 All should but most don't, sadly. And a lot of them, sadly again. ;)

  • Bad Ass! Love it!

Thanks for puttin' it out there!

  • @MrBates1 Thanks for that, bro! ;)

  • Your so absolutely right!!! I loved this video and agree with everything you said! I was bullied growing up too and you have to own up and stand up for yourself! And I agree with your comments above about religion and how it doesn't teach morality! Good morals should be taught without religion getting involved! Keep the videos coming we need more people like you in the world:)

  • @vkulka0411 Thank you, Doll! ;)

  • brilliant!

  • @TheThirio Thank you for that! ;)

  • Shaved apes...lmao

  • @vickiormindyb I liked that one, too! ;)

  • the part about bullies peaking in high school and no further...they are at work and gov't. you don't need to be religious to not be an asshole. just common sense-and that's what the world is lacking...just my opinion. but people do need to stand up for themselves.
