The Federal Building on Bridge & Main~~ what i call "The Greenhouse Effect". Imagine they built that ugly building about 30 years ago and they are already abandoning it! That building on Howard STreet that looks like a castle was the Armory, I was in that building in the early 1980's it has a beautiful gymnasium.

i bet half of the negative comments are from haters first of all i bet none of you have been in Springfield once you live there you love it Springfield is nice like everyone says there are good parts and bad don't make fun of the whole city just for 1 part. I bet Chicopee has bad parts Holyoke has bad parts but overall 413 FOR LIFE

What city is best in MA.? Boston, Lowell, Pittsfield, Springfield, Worcester

Boston- Biggest city in NE, a very nice city for the most part, lots of students, good hospitals

Springfield- Has a bad reputation for crime, but it has it's good neighborhoods if you look. The surrounding towns like Agawam are more rural/suburban.

Pittsfield- Situated in the Berkshire Hills, known for their natural beauty. Good for the most part. Some poorer areas.

I'm not very familiar with Lowell or Worcester, but I know Worcester has kind of a reputation for crime.

I vote Pittsfield.

Nice video-brings back some (mixed emotion) memories. The narration adds a good amount of info, humor and sarcasm. Bondi's Island should fix the odor problem somehow or move to a better locale. I actually work for the main water municipality in a large city many states away.

i'm working at union street, and it's not the place where you want to be lone, expecialy if you are white and italian like me.

but downtown it's ok, what about a tour of the bad parts of springfield? today the arrested 5 guys in 500 yards near me, and maybe 2 times the gangs got a bit little exicted, it's not the best place, in fact i live in longmeadow!!!!

THANK YOU for posting this video! I was born/raised in Springfield. (Sunshine state girl now.) As did some of the other viewers, I attended AIC an would love to see some of the common areas and the cool landscaped area.
