  • 98.6? That's near-boiling isn't it?

  • @Dogbiteify The american's are weird with their metric measurements; that's farenheit, not celcius :P

  • Holla! Have you considered - fast abs magic (google it)? Ive heard some super things about it and my buddy got beautiful Six pack abs and lost lots of weight with it.

  • I always thought when staying in a cold temperature your body wouldn't metabolize the fat for energy, but rather transform most of your calorie intake into fat because the latter would protect youfrom the cold... So this hypothesis of mine was just a myth..? D:

  • @yakuzasama01 Yes. One of the reasons we can store fat is to have energy reserve in times of little food or in case cold, but you do not store extra fat in the cold.

  • @andersmalling You do not store extra fat...? What do you mean, extra fat?

  • @yakuzasama01 I mean, that you do not store more fat than you normally would because it is cold - you store fat because your calorie intake is higher than your calorie use!:)

  • Do i have to use ICE or just cold water will do?

  • hi

  • this is very informative thanks

  • BUENOS TUS VIDEOS , PERO YO KISIERA SABER EJERCICIOS EFECTIVOS PARA LOS OBLICUOS I ABDOMINALES INFERIORES PORFA

  • Another advantage of this is that you have more stamina while exercising in the cold because the body uses less energy to cool itself.

  • its easy after your body heats up

  • interesting

  • @ambiancered54 I also succeeded losing weight. I'm thankful for the encouragements from my family that I was able to finished the diet courses on WeightLossAction.Info.

  • Wow, this is actually true. In fact, people that spend time in Antartica actually consume whole sticks of butter to GAIN fat, just to keep warm.

  • THUMBS UP IF FATASS GET SO EXCITED, cuz they dont have to do pain tired cardio,,hey get wat u might lose some weight but u still look like shiet if u dont workout, there aint shortcut bitch

  • i already take cold showers so i think im going to skip to the ice baths. my lazy ass would rather freeze than excercise. LOL

  • Hey Brandon I have a question. How do you get pink eye? Is it from a bare ass fart to a pillow? or do you need some chick to queef onto it instead?

  • Everyone to The North Pole we go!

  • its seems kinda opposite.. i get more fat during winters

  • that nasa guy can just take a swim in space without clothes, then he will burn of lots of calories to maintain body temperature x)

  • dang it, i live in cali, it doesn't snow

  • nice video, i like it

  • How long and how often should i do the ice bath and does a cold shower work the same?

  • Tim Ferris is the man. Check out his blog. He has alot of information on health and dialy life tips.

  • this is great cuz i love extreme cold

  • hey man, I can mentally handle an ice bath. do you have to bath your body neck down or just waist down?

  • Holy shit i always thought it was the opposite... Well qt least now im not ignorant

  • if there's no snow where i live, can i just workout near the frige?

  • can i do this infront of the AC? because in my country its heated all the time

  • Staying away from Mcdonalds and KFC would work SO much better.

  • wow. this makes some sense. all this time i been wearin jackets n drinkin room temp water. takin hot showers... time for change.

  • Hey can someone tell me just for how long do i need to take a walk outside when its cold as fuck and if i open my window and stop the air conditioning's heat and work out or just sit and watch tv or something ?

  • Yeah i believe this works, i bet dropping in a toaster and murdering yourself into shape will burn even more fat. C'mon, working out doesnt have to be self-mutilation like this.

  • Thanks for the replies my only other question is there not a risk of hypothermia?

  • i live in texas :o

  • Brandon who records your videos? does your girl record them?

And do you have a job or are you a personal trainer like full time?

And more thing, you should do longer work out videos man!

    there so good:)

  • Nice! Thanks for the tip!

  • I don't see why this is such a big deal, i've been doing this for years. I jog in weather as low as -5 degrees Celsius for 30 km in a wifebeater and shorts along bloor st. If I jog along the lake I wait till I get to the peirs downtown and jump in the water.

  • anyone know if an ice cold shower work as well?

  • @BrandonCarterTV when doing sets do we do 3 sets of jumping jacks then the next two. or do we do jumping jacks then the 2nd exercise then the 3rd then repeat? Because I'm confused. Nice beat btw.

  • @BrandonCarterTV

Does this work while in ketosis?

  • @BetweenHeavenandHell It does work as well. If it induces shivering, it will work. Minimum time of exposure should be 15-20min. Its painful, but it works. You will see results literally in your ribs the next day. Also, an ice pack on the back of your neck in the evening works. Full body cold exposure works 40% better.

  • SO WHY THE HELL PEOPLE KEEP SAYING THAT THEY PUT ON MORE WEIHGT IN THE WINTER?....LAZY COWS THEN HUH?

  • @iLOSEiSHRINK people stay in a eat more in the winter. people gain wieght around the x mass and thanksgiving to

  • @iLOSEiSHRINK because i am a bear

  • yeah shoveling the snow is good enough for me

  • I do ice baths and they are really good for recovering your body cooling down and so you wont wake up too sore the next morning..

It wont feel to cold if your work out was pretty intense..It will just feel good but really cold also haha

  • @emericaordie15 goo tip!!!

  • I live in Central IL only couple hours from Chicago. I dont wear a coat in the winter to help burn extra calories, i have done a couple of frozen walks but i should have done more. Its funny to hear people always saying "your gonna get sick from not wearing a coat" when they are the ones sniffling and coughing up phlegm and i am perfectly healthy and feeling good ! One thing to remember though is that you want to keep your hands and feet warm and dry, the body core will take care of itself.

  • @GodzOnlyGirlRS

Ice water definitely helps lower your body temp and is recommended in the Bowflex diet, i dont get the thing about frozen pizza though that is either really dumb or a really bad joke, cant tell which.

  • If i saw you jumping in the snow with your T-shirt on I would have been like "WTF is wrong with this nigga!"

  • hahahhahahha!

  • nah...i'll choose exercising and diet. Thank you :)

  • michael phelps eats 12k calories per day and still looks thin because he swims 36 miles per week. and its not because of the water. pool arent even that cold. ok maybe it burns a few calories. but 90% of his calorie burn comes form swimming.

  • @Striskelion

So then explain why walking 36miles per week only burns 2-3lbs of fat but swimming 36miles per week burns 20lbs of fat? Oh wait they already did in the video, water temp pulling heat off your body makes it burn MORE calories. The water in the pool doesnt have to be "cold" it just has to be cooler than your body temp which is ~98deg F

  • @jdizzle1337 you don't get it bro. walking 36 miles is fucking easy compared to swimming 36 miles. normal people can walk for many many miles but can they swim the same distance? walking only uses your legs, glutes and abs. while swimming uses everything from your toes to your fingers.

  • i do the ice baths every day after a heavy workout and i go to sleep under my fan fully on, but its good to know that it actually works

  • @pooponhoop I think you should do an ice baths before a heavy workout to burn more fat and calories. After that you can take a shower and go to sleep.

  • yo this shhit fucking hurts

  • loooool look at Brandon face :P

  • if i take a cold shower right after i work out would that help at all?

  • Thank you very much for uploading. great video!

  • Cold water was terrible for me !! I was like you in my bath, I can feel your pain lol

  • Unbelievably small penis after an ice bath I should assume......

  • I've heard that doing workouts in the cold doesnt burn fat because something about your body using the fat to stay warm, I may be wrong, care to exlpain?

  • @nfarnham2008 that make you burn MORE fat.

  • lol Tim recommends not to start with the ice baths, go slowly dude

  • whats your bodyfat?

  • Hah--my ancient gym here in Japan is all over this. No heating whatsoever. And yes, winter is frikkin' COLD here. The kick-boxers have the windows open.

  • seems that people will try everything except diet when it comes to fat loss

  • ice bath - dont try at home ? haha

how much u managed to stay in it ? XD

    and really feeling the beat

  • Funny!!! I jumped in really cold water a few times, feel like needles on the body.Lost some fat overtime though. But a good workout is preferable.

  • @pshoo9 it was awful lol

  • So if we do high speed bike riding in the cold atmosphere does it help ?

  • u played the muzik thru out the whole interview haha....should've turned it down son

  • i dont this ill try this ice bath unless its with a girl :P

  • @a7mad9999999 my girl held the cam

  • @BrandonCarterTV :O Nice :) good luck

  • @BrandonCarterTV brandon will it work if i have a ice bath and then go to gym an work out?

  • very interesting.

  • Man these people are lazy. They are willing to put themselves through that kind of misery just so they don't have to flex any muscles or do any kind of real work. Even if it works for weight loss, your heart still needs a workout and so do your muscles if you want to be healthy. It annoys me how people don't want to put in the work, yet they want the results. Always looking for the easy way out.

  • @tabre you should check out my other videos before you call me lazy

  • @BrandonCarterTV Dude I wasn't calling you lazy. I was talking about people who want to lay around in a bathtub of ice water to lose weight.

  • @tabre You can still do your regular training and conditioning but in the extreme cold - Yes

    Thats next level!

  • hahahaha

i don't think i'm gonna try the ice bath

  • @hayer999tayer hahahaha nah man. it sucks!

  • bro i watch all ur vids i think ur an amazing rapper wit an super human body and i strive to have abs like u one day

  • @xxh2022xx thanks man! you'll get there if you stay consistent

  • Comment removed

  • @RaxflexCA sorry bro, that "theory" is totally baseless.

  • I cant do this shit no more! loved it and great workout

  • yo i can't do this shit!
