If you are thinking of awakening Kundalini, please do somephysical, psychological and spiritual research and preparation. Do not take this lightly. I have had an acute Kundalini awakening, and have recently experienced the dark night of the soul. Without a sound body and mind, you can have physical illness/symptoms and also times where you may doubt your own sanity. Having said that, although it was very difficult at times, I now see it as a blessing.

when i access my kundalini i heal indigestion neck cramps sinus pains headaches. i remember being taught to do this from someone i can not remember . i cant remember who but this is what they told me to do picture your pain copncentrate picture that pain where it is and see your hand grab the pain and remove it from its place. thats was as a youth. as an adult i am able to relieve pain by releasing something from my spine when i meditate.

No problems, minor symptoms. Google them, but realize that Swamiji states that it is not bad - it shows that you are on the right path and you are progressing. If you surrender, Swamiji's energies or whoever awakened your Kundalini will protect you. After that, everything you really wanted comes your way.

Yes, I had a kundalini experience as a teenager that took me a month to recover from. I had no experience in energy work at the time; it just happened when I was trying to astral project one night. It wasn't a full awakening and it seemed to go dormant afterwards (if that's even possible.) I was lucky. There are people out there who are left utterly destroyed by it when it arises unprepared.

There are many ways: Meditation practices, FULLY surrendering to a God or Guru with devotion & trust, Karma Yogi....There are many paths but I would say Surrendering and Meditation Practices. Bhagavad Gita is a great place to start learning how to Surrender. It is said that by reading B.G, you will automatically have an altered consciousness even if you do not understand it

the process of any type of meditation will start awakening kundalini. But it is strongly recommended to go to a guru and follow instructions. Even if you do not worry about kundalini and continue with your spiritual practices in due course kundalini will start awakening. How long will it take depends of seversl factorm e.g. how much 'sanchit karmas' you are having, or how sincerely you are doing your sadhna, or which type of sadhna you are practicing etc.

Kundalini meditation should be practising with the experience teacher! I started i the Chakra Dhyana meditation which will help to awaken Kundalini (I am not the experience meditator). After probably 15 min I started to feel some powerfull waves of strange energy started to rase from the Mooladhara chakra to Manipura. I become so afraid and started to panic!

. I did once make a trip to Parvada Malai and I was so lucky enough to have the darshan of Lord Shri Mallikarjuna who resides on the hill and it was quite an experience. It's a 3000ft high mount and one has to climb all the way to the top.
