Well she didn't get to be on the show but she has done WAY more amazing things than starring on SYTYCD. She was a Young Arts Finalist and was a Young Arts Presidential Scholar in Dance. Not to mention the millions she had inspired and the Young Arts network which she is a great part of.

omg... she is easily the strongest (physically) female dancer ive ever seen... absolutely amazing, perfect balance of strength and flexability... and her floor work and knee falls are absolutely flawless... not 100% into all of the choreography though.

She found out that she was a finalist for presidential scholar and a week later she was the only female dancer in the nation to be awarded the presidential scholar. She will be performing for The president in John F. Kennedy center in Washington June 21St. So she had bigger things than a competition which winning is not guaranteed! Great choice Ida!!!

@mikelorsborn well, I'm disappointed that we don't get to see her on the show. But I'm pretty sure that a presidential scholarship will have more prestigious meaning for her career than starring in reality tv, no matter how lustrious the competition on the show. she's going places no matter what, but a performance in front of the president is something we shouldn't think to rob her of especially because we appreciate her exquisite skill.

I think she's a great technically but I really don't connect with watching her dance this choreography. Not sure why. She's got nice line and extension. Just not feeling her.

I only just now saw her solo-audition on SYTYCD and I immediately wrote her name down before the performance even ended so I wouldn't lose her. When they were airing the first day of Vegas I kept scanning the crowds and the groups of dancers who took the stage for her, feeling elation every time she was in a top group or got to move forward. Then, at the end of the episode the preview for the next one showed her saying that she would withdraw from the competition. I hope this isn't the case. :(

Watching Ida in this video reminds me of the absolutely privileged time I had when I was there to see her amazing performance @ NYCDA Nationals 2009. I wanted to holler out several times because of Ida's amazing ability but I did not want to take any attention away from her. I could not wait to join in with the thunderous applause Ida received after this superb performance. But then, I knew to NOT miss Ida's performance after I saw her perform Unravel - which was absolutely amazing also.
