  • Hey that's great for the camera

  • Did he really just say.... is that a 747 ._. It looks like a 737 800 or a 737 700 Lmao

  • Its a 737 not 747

  • He didn't mistake it for Thomas Cook; it's Thomson/TUI that has a similar colour scheme, but they don't operate 737's.

  • @oldskulejosh it's because Neos, (who's aircraft it is) was helped by TUI by getting funding and help with the first aircraft/s.

  • bin on that runway looks scary not as scary as u think though

  • 2:43 Bladiah! ?...

  • Just come back from there, i never thought our plane would get of the runway lol :)

  • Nice shooting dude!

  • Haha at about 1:12 I was wondering why it hadn't lifted off yet... :P

  • if a terrorist would come by, just turn up the throttle ... problem solved.

  • HAHA, cant believe it! ive been there!...there's a small beach just behind the runway where you can just sit and wait for aircraft. I waited all day on that damn beach and only saw a Cessna Citation X. I understand why you had to run behind that car though, the cessna nearly blew me off my feet! lol. I love Skiathos, such a nice place, especially the harbour.

  • those wings are long for a 737

  • @wild1heart : i agree. even though it's the long version of the plane (-800) they look quite stretched to me. maybe it's the winglets that makes it look longer.

  • Hide behind the truck! OOPS there goes our truck...

  • 5,000 feet runway for a 737-800 to the UK?

I've flown from belfast city on a 738, and they're only capable of operating domestic flights.

A 737-800 at MTOW needs 8,000 feet minimum.

    Great footage.

  • @EinkOLED 737-800's are one of the most technically advanced 737's out there. i've flown on a 738 from MAN to fuertaventura. You can get to Turkey and Egypt on one, non-stop.

and a 752 can take off on JSI's runway. Trust me, i've flown on a 752, 735, 738, A320 and A321 on that runway. and they can all land and take-off safe.

  • how is the hot air form the engines fell like ?? very hot ?? or u can survive it >>?? nice video

  • @Nowak98765 When I went there and stood behind the engine, clinging on to the barrier for dear life, it was like being in a sauna, except three times hotter, and being in a hurricane at the same time. Let's just say I didn't do it again, but it was fun. Actually, thinking about it now, I would do it again. It was totally AWESOME!!

  • 737

  • AMAZING QUALITY!

  • 2:33 wow!

  • Well, I told that this must be THE SFP model because I have seen this model taking off from shorter runways. I am a pilot and in Brazil, and in here there is an airline called ¨GOL Transportes aéreos¨and they use this 737-800 SFP to operate in runways shorter than Skiathos like Santos Dumont airport in Rio de Janeiro (1323 meters)or in runways with the same size but higher elevations. That is why i thought this could be the short field performance model!!!!!!

  • wow. can get this close to the runway

  • nice

  • Looks dangerous, in terms of security thats also very vulnerable, well filmed

  • Hot body, 2:33

  • that was a new airplane

  • hahahahah nice

  • This must be a 737-800 SPF (short field performance) a different model of 737-800 to operate on short runways or on runways with high elevations or pressure altitudes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @djonymorais, nope not true. its MTOW is very low hence the destination its flying to (must be Italy I guess). A 747 is not able to take off from SXM fully loaded, the runway is too short. The airline thus has to make a decision: to make a fuel stop with a runway that is long enough or not to choose for MTOW.

  • I love the 737!

  • "carefull, wake turbulence" hehe, nice movie!

  • lol did somone think that was a 747 no he was just joking i think LOL anyone can tell the difference and 737 can take off very quickly it dosent need alot of runway

  • 737's were designed for short take offs and landings

  • LOL I like how everything became silent after the take off, like becoming deaf for real

  • Real high security perimeter fence they have there . . .

  • lol

  • lol yeah, def. don't want anyone in there.

  • @beninmelb you can trough handgranades at the runway :D

  • 747 IT IS A 737 JUST TO LET YOU KNOW

  • NVM i didnt even read the video title LOL
