Except for the cloth, I'd say Bad Company 2 comes VERY close to this, and it doesn't require PhysX. Built right into the engine. Sure its pre-scripted, but I'm shooting dudes, not walls.

How does it look crappy? Most of the BFBC2 destruction is pre-simulated and only destroys where you shoot it. This is in my opinion far more impressive due to there's actually results WHERE you shoot. I can shoot the corner of a wall on Bad Company and the whole square which that corner resided blows up too.

I'm a little late on the question but the issue is that the 9 series cards run physX off of the cards GPU, bogging it down but the 100 and 200 series cards have a dedicated separate physics gpu that only does physX so the solution would be upgrading and that's really the only solution. Hope this helped.

What is the difference between yours and my computers ability to run the game with just a software update that just added a couple fps for me?
