This had many unforgettable episodes. The one about the boy who collapsed and died during practice. The tragic one with the death of Curtis. And the one with the psychotic student who acted out, and eventually tried to kill his teacher in front of the other students. The student in that last one was played by none other than Michael Winslow, who later used his sound effects talents in the "Police Academy" movies.
Good T.V. went the way of good music. There is a episode with Dennis Hayspert, you know, the State Farm guy.

One episode I liked was when they tried out for wrestling!

One of my all-time favorites. Ken Howard was perfect for the part; great casting all the way around. What ever happened to good TV?

@dasecondhalf With reality TV they don't have to pay for writers OR actors; it's all about the 'bottom line.'
