If vince really wants to break new grown, take the industry and shake it to its core as he has said before he needs to get on the phone with the TNA officials and have a WWE/TNA show down for complete brand supremacy. They did it once with the wcw, ecw buyouts they can do it again. this will get wrestling fans new and old to just say what the fuck is going on! I'm not suggesting vince buy out TNA just have a cross brand war to end them all.

@martyboyish JR suffered a stroke many years ago. I don't know if he got any feeling or movement back completely but a long time ago it was much more noticeable. does that answer your question?

@Blade5276 Jim Ross never had a stroke. He has a medical condition called Bell's Palsy, which is basically paralysis of the facial nerves. It makes the person look like they had a stroke, but it's actually caused by a virus. He's had several recurrences over the years, but overall, I would say he looks and sounds good for a man that's been through what he's been through.  He's sorely missed on WWE programming.

With WWE putting out so many DVD's, I would love a Jim Ross DVD with a bio on his career (which covers alot of ground) and a listing of maybe his top 20 favorite matches to call. That would be sweet!!!!! Guess WWE would have to get their hands on the Mid South tapes to really make it complete though.

@mrbluto3 Yes he is. He used to be on camera in the territories from time to time and in 1985 on TBS he used to do a weekly spot with Flair called "Pro Wrestling Illustrated Scouting Report" so he's no stranger to the camera !

@k0kan3 Amen - Michael Cole appears to be on the verge of becoming a "heel" announcer, but that won't help much. Lawler needs J.R. so he can be at his best. After Lawler, the best announcer they have is Matt Striker. Maybe they need to move Hugo Savinovich over to the English speaking side.
