stupid accidentul,mai stupid de atat nu se putea.daca a uitat de masina de pe pista e clar ca tipa nu a impletit ciorapi,ca a mai avut si altceva de munca.e posibil sa fie o lipsa de personal,altfel nu imi imaginez de ce doamna care controla traficul nu s-a putut ocupa de o masina si un avion,simultan

Between 11:26:40 and 11:26:50 the control tower asked the maintenance workers if the runway was clear but got no reply.

Accellerating for takeoff, at a speed of about 90 kts, the Boeing 737 hit a car 600 m past the runway threshold with the nr.1 engine and with the left landing gear.

I guess it was the Control Tower's fault. They shouldn't have given permission to take off whilst receiving no answer from the repair crew on the runway.
