  • Good to see Prof. Anderson. I took a course from him at SDSU back in 1980. He was kind enough to give me a C. Irrespective of that he a had a huge impact on me personally and enriched the lives of countless students.

As a Direct result of him I took up Greek and Sanskrit.

He would say: " A good teacher encourages the harder; but than, the harder has just begun."

"Acquire some mass and leave the mush behind"

Professor Anderson is the real deal. He should be the one that is being interviewed.

  • Thank u very much loved it we do live forever because the energy within us all can never ever die energy we are pure infinite love energy having a human experience I love this video thank u so much from my open heart to yours

  • Immortality is possible. Time comes to a stop inside a black hole and if it were possible to avoid a black holes singularity and make it through the event horizon then it should be plausible that one can attain immortality while remaining inside the black hole. This is assuming we had the technology capable of withstanding such immense gravitational force. Some day maybe.

  • Death to us means end of body, organism and our relationships. We are attached to these things therefore, are afraid of loosing them. For K, however, death means ending of content of consciousness. It means while your body remains alive consciousness can be emptied of its content. This is really something extraordinary. K means this is the real death, not the inevitable physical one. Such a 'death' really opens up immensity of life with its beauty strength and vitality.

  • @usdubey There is continuation. There is no death. The 'me' arises in every human as they are born. The 'me' , in every human, is ,obviously, personal to that human. There is no personal continuity, but there is a continuance that is personal. Paradoxical? Yes, but true. And as we are 'slave-robots of a selfish survival machine', nDNA [Dawkins]. then our slavery continues after the death of this body. We're in big trouble. K saw this.

  • I've seen interviews with Eckhart Tolle and others who have been completely dishonored by the interviewer. This gentlman did an excellent job. But that doesn't matter much, consciousness flows like a river flowing downstream, you can block it but it will eventually spill over your bank and overwhelm you. That's the beauty of it. Thank you K ... Namaste

  • i wonder how meaning to life is shaped my imagination.

  • I think Prof. Anderson follows along perfectly. In fact, I think it's his intent listening that inspires Krishnamurti to be more animated than he normally is.

  • i was about to agree with the second comment like ive never agreed with anyone online..then i realized it was MY COMMENT lol

  • I used to think this too. What I did find though is that Allan Anderson proved to be a great facilitator for Krishnamurti's expressions of his understanding of the movement of life and death. Anderson proved to be a gentle, thoughtful, humble, considerate and extremely respectful launching pad for a wonderful series of dialogues. I respect him enormously and developed a genuine affection for him as a person in the 18 discussions that I watched many times.

  • life and death is the same thing just discovert it!!!

  • the vitality of death!

  • A Mirror can NOT see itself through looking at Mirror, for ever and more. You must not see dying with your thoughts but with your own very being.

  • I understand that now, thank you.

  • that's what this is all about, listen close.

  • His not talking about understanding death, his talking about the understanding of fear.

  • Yes, Dr. Anderson. Almost has a British accent. He speaks on a Nisargadatta DVD. Same thing, just missing the tobacco pipe. But a likeable fellow indeed. Has ring with with, what, a quarter on it? Yes, a perfect foil for K.

  • Dr. Anderson does NOT FOLLOW K. its annoying ive got this entire series on my Ipod.. its like listening to Bill Moyers and Campbell Moyers doesn't get it but he makes a perfect foil for the illumination coming from the speaker.

  • At least he let's him talk. Look at Iris Murdoch interview with JK, I almost trashed my laptop trying to make it to part 2 of the interview :)

Damn ... the woman talk too much, and listens too less.

  • I agree about Murdock, the most annoying video ever taken with KM.

She is the victime of so called Intellectualism that is very deep in mind conditioning etc. I thaink she was realy annoyed by KM because she couldn't even beat KM on her own intellectual ground.

  • @Sladeofdark Agreed. I also have many hours of JK on my iPod (with Dr. Bohm). JK did a great deal to advance the human species and give us insight and understanding of death. But be careful with this guy. JK was also a bullshit artist non plus ultra.

  • @DeathNeedsTime How was JK being a bull shit artist? Just curious?

  • @DeathNeedsTime I would really appreciate what aspect of his teachings I should be careful of. What is he bullshitting about? I am just getting to know him and would really really like to hear your explanation. Why do you have him on your ipod many hours if he bullshits. No disrespect, but you contradict yourself here.

  • Try to understand. If NOT. Play again.MAC

  • @gav25 yeah :P if not play CS or other dumb game.

  • ALWAYS ENJOY THE MASTER!

  • lol
