@TheMediax Larger than 3" downpipe is not possible to fit on these cars without cutting up the car.
Remember that a long 3" pipe flows less then a short 3" pipe. That means that it's always beneficial to enlarge the exhaust even if the downpipe is smaller. This is a custom exhaust and the important thing is that the wastegate is tied in during the 3-4" merge which makes for the least amount of turbulence.
A 38mm is on the small side for a 3.0l. It works, but gives small boost spikes.
@RevlineRacing we building 16V with Holset HX40 and downpipe is enlarged". Engine is waiting for intake manifold.
Last engine was 3.0l 8V and used Garrett GT3582R and the bearing "broke" thought the high EGT . So it first 16V and i am curious about the wastegate and hear your story :D
i watch this video atleast once a week and dream my s2 was as killer as this... yes i know its a turbo s setup with the variocam 3.0 turboed but my cars skeleton lies somewhere in there ahahahah

So what the Turbo S have ? And a 944 Turbo got the 2.5L engine with a turbo, the S2 a 3.0L engine N/A So the 944 Turbo S got which engine ?

Can ye post a vid of it under a load? meaning some acceleration videos, looking for a muffler for my 944 and want something that gives it a unique sound and not like some Honda, which I know may be abit hard since the engines are about the same size

3" downpipe and 4" exhaust why? or u just bought stuff from lindsay:D
and what intake manifold are u using? "homemade" or lindsay?
and why u have tial 44mm , 38mm too small or just the play it safe?

No. This is a 944 Turbo S (which has beefier transmission, brakes, suspension etc. than an S2) with turbo converted 968 engine.
