We had a kitten who looked just like him but he got lost right before christmas so sad and we didn't want to get another cat but the house felt empty without him so we got another car called tinkerbell we still miss him xxxxxx but he would go up to any1 ;( miss you skipper xx

I am in tears. This little guy may have only lived a year, but it was the best year, so much love given and received. I lost my Bailey on April 23 of this year to urinary tract disease, he was only 4. It was the hardest decision to make but I didn't want him to suffer anymore. I still mourn him and I still tell him I'm sorry because it feels like I failed him because I couldn't make him well. R.I.P. little Forrest and my little Baileybear, forever missed.

so sorry to hear that he had to be put down :( but you made his life worth living. I even cannot watch this video since it makes me cry. I lost my 2 year-old cat due a heart attack, she had some sort of defect in her heart to begin with. She died in my arms.

Im sorry for your loss. he seemed like a great companion/friend even with his disability. He looks to have been a very happy lil kitty, and was lucky to have you guys to take care, comfort, and protect him the best you could. Sadly lives come to an end, but I dont think it bothered Forrest to pass, as now he is in kitty heaven and can live up to his name of Forrest Gump, and run his big caring heart out

This brought tears to my eyes. I watched, waiting to see how he was now in 2010, only to find a case similar to my friend's cat Tia. She had to be put down suddenly at two years old, for she had a deadly disease. I have rescued my first cat now. Bless Forrest, in Heaven he runs like he was born to. Goregeous cat, we love you Forrest!

He was an extremely happy cat, it's easy to see. You should definitely be proud to have taken such good care of him. No pain, just safety and security. Disabled cats don't know that they are different and they don't mourn anything. They live in the now. We should all be so lucky. His life lesson is a potent one. You did the right thing, too, hard as it may have been. It was what he deserved. :)

Even with all the trials and tribulations poor Forrest suffered through he enjoyed more in his 1 year than some cats do in a lifetime. At least he knew what it was liked to be loved and cared for. A special thanks to the people that gave so much when some would have cared less. Forrest is home now and as 1 person said he's rompin and stompin.

Well now Forrest is able to walk, run on all four of his legs in heaven! Bless you for your kindness in taking him in and giving him the best life you could give! Full of love and happiness surrounded by people who cared about him enough to end his life so that he wouldn't be in pain! I respect you for your decision! I was afraid something like this happened to this brave little kitty after so long without an update.  He died the same day my beautiful, and very talented Buck Kitty slipped out of the house and was killed by a coyote. Forrest Gump was a lucky kitty to have a human family who went above and beyond to give him a normal life, and a year as a beloved member of your family. God Bless you all!
