News Free Tibet Protest Bird's Nest national stadium and hang two banners demanding a Free Tibet.

Climbers Ian Thom, a 24-year-old from Edinburgh, and Phill Bartell, 34, from New Jersey in the U.S. scaled two 120-foot light poles outside the stadium to hang the banners. One read "One World, One Dream, Free Tibet." The second read "Tibet will be Free" in English and "Free Tibet" in Chinese.
