On a final note a lot of them have had pre existing conditions and criminal drug use and there are those who are niether but are a small number! Secondly these guys are vandictive towards the military there is love or hate not in between. The underage drinking that goes on is no different in the military than in the college scene. What you make out of it they didn't use the military to get a better career they where there to be there! Take some of what they say with a grain of salt!
Also, I was in the military the guys that I have met and the rule is in the military are this and everyone knows it. You are scared to go because most guys lie about their medical history. If you go and tell them about your pre condition that is fraudulent enlistment. The burden comes down to well if I tell them then will I go to jail. Secondly, If you have a felony drug conviction and you go and say I have been using you go back to jail. This all adds to his statistics of suicide!
Okay I did not know what drugs are and Cough Syrup...What! I am glad they served and most suicide from what war or family problems like financial, previous pyschological problems. The training has to be more pyschological instead of being soft on these guys bootcamp and lets not forget that they do waivers for conditions such as felonie drug use and that right there takes a chunk out of the statistics. I say this army can not look at your pyschological record so add that to the statistics!
Whenever I came back from deployments, the class 6 (which is like a liquor store on base), would stock up on cases of beer. I remember seeing cases stacked up to the ceiling. Now, I understand supply and demand but damn, you want to talk about permission to drink. There's a perfect example for you...
Hey, RML I wrote some stuff down about what these guys are saying and from a guy who was in the military. You and I know that there are guys with felony drug convictions who had huge problems before and then they meet others like them and Secondly, My experience has been when you go for pyschological help most lied about their pre existing pychological conditions to get into the military. When you talk about it and they find out you lied about it to get in then your in trouble. Come on Man!
If they find out during the pychological help and I know the military medical help isn't the best. However, you and I know that most don't seek help because they don't want the doc to find out about there pre existing condition. Secondly, if you have a felony drug and abuse conviction and they find out through the ASAP your fucked. There is a lot of underage drinking just like those who go to college. A lot use and abuse to get out because they don't want to be in the military anymore. Come on!

I agree with Garett on this one.
